A Soggy Goodwood Revival 2024

- Friday 6th September a day we had been waiting for all year, looking forward to a glorious sunny Goodwood, but the weather conspired against us and it rained all day. However that didn't dampen the spirits even if a two hour delay on the motorway did its best to spoil it. Lotus's, ERA's, Nortons, Vincents, Cobras, Jaguars, Ferraris, Maseratis and more all raced despite the weather. Cars of all makes and vintages braved the mud and rain to bring a spectacle of a different type. Hopefully you enjoy this challenging video, short on time and difficult with the conditions but hopefully nonetheless gives a flavour of Goodwood when the sun is replaced by rain. We had a great time despite getting soaked to the skin and will be back next year. We hope you enjoy and if so please join the channel. Thanks
I think this was filmed on the Friday which was, indeed, very rainy. However, on Saturday the weather was much drier, albeit there was some drizzle. On the Sunday the weather was sunny and warm.
However, even on the rainy Friday, everyone had a great time. Thanks for the video.
Yes it was Friday, this was our first Goodwood and really looking forward to it, but we will be back next year, still enjoyed it.

given the conditions, i thought u made a good video. one thing i wondered about however, if it rained all day,how easy was it to get out of the car park,assuming u were parked on the grass? glad the weather wont stop u going again.
Thanks for the comment, We left a bit early because we had a ferry to catch and convinced we'd be bogged down in the car park but we got off no problem, in fact we moved quicker getting off the field than we did on the M25 😄
