San Francisco 1971.
Back in the Dirty Harry Era.
Was still better than today.
JUST AMAZING !!! thanks, from FRANCE. LOVE. LIKE too;;;;;;;
Sad to see this video of my city because we all know it has been utterly destroyed.
Democrats...................
Seriously, San Francisco is the saddle of the wokesters and the democratic party. Of course they destroyed it.
@@death2pc Biden
It is so sad. 😢
@@death2pc Nah, but thanks for sharing the misinformation. Just here to let everyone know that it's misinformation. Cheers and take care
In 1971 Playland at the beach had one more year to survive!!! 🎠🎡🎢
Did you find Harry Callahan's home movie stash?
The year I was born....just south of there in San Jose.
Back in those days, there were the big tank cars. I wasn't even alive yet in a video like this.
My parents purchased lots of property there and handed down land from my grandparents it was beautiful a different world sadly they all past , It took time but I sold everything and had a house built in Laguna Hills California.
Sf was a cool city in the 70's with affordable rents and a vibrant nightlife. Then shortly after came the greedy real estate profiteers, raising rents leading to crushing homelessness and criminal drug usage, thereby destroying the social fabric of the city for the sake of profit.
The price of rent goes up due to inflation. Property tax, maintenance for the property going up. Thats why rents are raised.
NICE WAY to put it, but not quite that snappy. The gougers came in force since the late 90s only. The City Hall area was a mess already late 80s. I was there, I saw it.
@@sulevisydanmaa9981 The came to the Castro in the late 70s and early 80s tripling rents on businesses, forcing them to move to other neighborhoods.
In 1978 when came back to the City I paid $120 a month for rent. Sure it was just a room on Powell St but at least rents were reasonable back in the day.
Back when there were a lot of natives who were extremely cool and decent people, but since then transplants and immigrants have moved in, and the city is changed forever and not necessarily for the better… although the ethnic food scene is pretty darn good
Best hotdogs in the city at jaffeys just ask inspector callahan
How is the city now compared to this video?
Much,much worse!!!!!!! 👍
As time goes by¡¡¡
This is when San Francisco was free of the homeless and the drugs and the crime rate was low and people had fun and the city was very clean from what I can tell my how I miss this for sure. Let’s vote them out Governor, Mayor and even elect a new board as well the next time around and take our city back.
Not going to happen. SF had its heyday in the 60's and 70's. The criminal real estate profiteers have taken over and degraded the city with their greed in raising the rents beyond affordability, leading to crushing homelessness.
TONY HALL TO THE CITY HALL !!! Make a rap out of it. Tle : The New king of the HEAP ...(of ya know of what ..)
Como te extraño SF
Stark naked as opposed to stark un-naked?
Lol 😂
I was a very young child in 1971, but years later I would find out that's when the Zebra murders were happening!
Wow it went downhill in the 21st century smh
Where is the homeless and the people shitting all over the place??
They were just being born then
San Franshitsco.
@@jamesmack3314 No, not born then but born about 20 years ago. They are the lazy, drug generation that are ruining cities across this country.
NOOOOOO! Not #frisco!!!
Lol, gone :)
Music is way, way too loud. Ruins presentation.
Just put your volume a little lower.
I enjoyed it
