I’d been playing the SNES and N64 version for awhile on Online to get my fill and 99 is so fun. Just glad that multiplayer is here because that’s what it needed.
@@Spider-Complexion definitely agree, this is what was missing from the experience all these years. they added just about everything i always wanted sitting in the living room with my cousin playing it
I was born in 95. I never "grew up" with F-Zero but on my 16th birthday I bought a cartridge copy for my old SNES at a flea market and played it like mad. I didn't have much at the time/that year, so being able to enjoy a passed up classic on the original hardware was something special.
If you can't seem to take the sharp turns, follow these steps: Let go of the accelerator when you start turning. Let your momentum carry you as you steer, and use L or R to slide into the turn if you're still not going tight enough. Once you're facing the right way, stop steering and let go of L or R if applicable, then press the accelerator again. If there's a straightaway after the turn, now's a good time to boost. No, GBA-style blast turning does not improve your grip here. It only works with the Fire Stingray because that machine has good grip. This is also how to handle slippery zones, because they don't have much of an effect when the accelerator is off.
Contrast makes some of the best things: Peanut butter and jelly Vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup Sand Ocean's calm music and it's extremely tense tight turns
Sand Storm I & II are such fun courses, a fun challenge and yes, they remove the wind gimmick from the original.. but I think the sandstorm does make them very unique.
To my brother if you ever stumble upon this comment: remember when we were kids playing this game and we laughed our assess off to the idea that this music would come out whenever either of us farted? Good times.
Bagheera was at the vet, she had FIV, we didn't know if she would be coming home. I remember playing F Zero and hearing this for the first time. This track is exactly how I felt at the time. RIP My lil Bagheeeeeera
How can you be multiple guys? You're presumably only one guy. Oh, I see, your "guys" is supposed to be a vocative, but you ignored the required comma! See, by not writing the comma, you're making everything after "am" part of the predicate, that is, you're saying that you are fan guys who are new F-Zero. Things like this is why grammar is important.
Is it me, or am I the only one who likes to think this song was written in 3/4 and not 6/8? To me, the idea of Sand Ocean being a waltz is kinda interesting. You really are dancing around this race track.
Can't understand why NST decided to use the overly compressed tracks in F-Zero 99. There's so much that's lost when listening to the original. Case in point, the little chimes lose all the high-end treble and you never notice it in-game.
Congratulations F-zero fans
A new generation shall enjoy this game at last
yeah i never knew i liked F zero so much until i played F zero 99
F-Zero 99 was such a good way to breathe life into the game again. Just in time for the rumored remake of F-Zero GX

But still Haven’t experiences NES Nor SNES yet ..
N64 was overrated with the BIG EXCEPTION of Goldeneye 007. Might be the best multi player game EVER!
I feel like this track gets so slept on in 99. 😢
I really enjoyed learning the difficult curves of this track, it may not have my favorite song but I do like racing there.
I think I must agree like other people hate that track and that's why I don't play it on 99 very often
It’s not the easiest track but when you nail the turns and it flows smoothly, it’s possibly the most satisfying track imo, up there with Silence
I am a big Sand Ocean advocate
Sand Ocean, Red Canyon (either one), White Land 1, and Mute City 3 are all IMMEDIATE picks if I see them
make sure these never go down PLEASE.
my childhood, despite 94.
i was lucky enough to get a super nintendo from my uncle.

I've always loved the drum line in this track.
Its killer
I just discovered this song today through F Zero 99.

Sorry bro. But Sand Ocean is my absolute BEAST! I love this level!
This game has such a good soundtrack
I have to second you on that.
Watched a longplay and I have to agree with you. I feel VERY bad for ignoring the music in Smash Bros.
My favorite stage of this game. It's noticeably slower in BPM to big blue due to having more turns and being a more technical stage overall.
This goes so hard. I don't remember this level, I used to play this on my cousin's Super Nintendo. I'm glad they remade this game
This one really takes.me back to this era, man things were so different then.
the music in this game really does sell it so hard all by itself
Best tune on F Zero
I like this, Mute City, Port Town and Fire Field

In the Ace League version of F-Zero, there's a Sand Ocean 2 and Big Blue 2.
Love this music
