- Finally, I made it! A macrame tutorial for a boho style swing chair . I did refer a hammock but I wonder in case I can not afford to make such a big product, so I decided to try the most simple swing with single big ring.

Wow it is so cute! Very nice! I am excited for your project being done even if I never start mine. This is just so pretty. I have similar project on my mind but my frame is square instead of round. I have this old chair and fabric got tore apart (and it needs sanding and painting). I guess - since for 2 ring chair in other video you used 5kg of rope - maybe for my chair 2 kg would be enough? It is sort of hammock but with steel frame, so no need for a big rope to hang from. I may try to do something as you did here across the ring, I could go across the shorter side of my square frame. Or maybe across the longer side and leave bottom side open, just witih fringes at the end? May I also ask how this rope behaves in case it gets wet? Is it cotton or hemp rope?
Many thanks my dear. Hope you can find my video helpful. I used cotton rope for this chair, and you can dry it by sunlight if It got wet.
She uses cotton, and you can spray it with scotch guard fabric protectant if it will be outside 😉

Para esta silla. Usé cordón de algodón con el grosor de 4 mm.
Preparé 32-34 cuerdas y la longitud de cada cuerda: 550cm
Yo hice el curso hace muchos años trabajaba en mi país hice lámpara mesas colgantes matero y espejos

This ring I bought in market at near my place. The material of the ring is steel my friend. It have the diameter 90cm and the thick 2cm. I think You can try finding it at craft online store 😊

This is so cute. I'm going to make one for my 5 year old granddaughter for Christmas. I don't want her to fall through the holes on the sides. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to fill those in?
Oh I think you can plus cords in the empty part. Then you make the same in video, It will have a different from the tutorial but just a little bit, you can adjust it yourself. 😊

The weight of this swing is suitable for the weight of one person. For me 50kg 😊😊😊

I am going to attempt this. But I am going to use 2 colors. (Black and purple) Any suggestions on how to arrange them?

Chào bạn, hồi đầu làm mình cũng ước chừng thôi hà, mình để dây dài dư ra, khỏi sợ thiếu, lúc làm xong mình mới cung cấp được số liệu chính xác trên video, vòng tròn đường kính 70cm thì nhỏ hơn của mình rồi, độ dài dây sẽ ngắn hơn mình chút, bạn cố gắng để dư độ dài của dây xíu, dài chút mình cắt bỏ hơi tiếc thiệt cơ mà ngắn là quéo queo luôn á 😅. Mình chuyên làm mấy mẫu Macrame nhỏ hơn, mấy mẫu lớn lớn này lâu lâu mày mò mới làm nên cũng hỏng ước chừng được chính xác cho bạn 😐

Cho mình hỏi khoảng cách giữa hai dây treo trước là bao nhiêu tính theo đường thẳng ngang qua và khoảng cách từ dây trước đến dây sau là bao nhiêu vậy bạn, cám ơn bạn nhiều nhiều 🥰🥰🥰
Khoảng cách giữa 2 dây trước là 80cm, giữa 2 dây sau là 70 cm, còn khoảng cách từ dây sau đến dây trước là 50 cm. Khoảng cách này đối với sử dụng vòng sắt 90 cm nha bạn ơi 😊
