If you live in Powhatan, VA it's actually pronounced the way the lady pronounces it at 2:44 While it may be pronounced Poe-hot-an traditionally by native americans, that's not how to pronounce the county Nobody outside of the Powhatan/Cumberland/Richmond area ever pronounces it correctly

We have a huge sports complex where people come from all over to play softball and my god it is entertaining to hear people try to pronounce Botetourt. I live in Botetourt more specifically in Buchanan. We have a huge sports complex where people come from all over to play softball and my god it is entertaining to hear people try to pronounce Botetourt. Of course also only people who live in Buchanan pronounce it Buck-hannon. Everyone else still trys to say Buchanan

I agree, Maryland has Southern culture, but we had to beg them to do Virginia so I don't know. I like Maryland Eastern Shore.

Okay, what happened to Naw-fok ? Fauquier is the only one that I still have trouble with. BTW, boren in Texas, raised in North Cacalaki but living in VA for the last 40 years
