I have tried to fix my Home Maison Collection pedestal fan and it was making noise and it was not working after it fixed and I have to throw in the dump and I got a Lasko pedestal fan with grey colours and it works and lasts longer
Hi Jordan, I love all the content you create! I recently found a Patton for sale like this with a bad speed control switch. How much would you shell out for one with a bad speed control switch?
i think i remember when i was a kid in the 1990s lot of these blue PATTON fans were sold at Walmart in various sizes. what is the date code on this fan you got? The motor looks to be an imported C frame shaded pole motor in the 1990s the full sized Patton high velocity fans used a McMillian electric motor some used as demo floating beach balls in the airstream try doing that with todays cheap thin flimsy high velocity fans. after seeing your video the way the stand is for these fans i had to reorientate mine so the V faces the rear on that 1989 U21887 still i need to get a motor for it.
Hi Jordan. This is the 2nd time a helpful video of yours has crossed my path (first one here ruclips.net/video/SGvvuQjB6AU/видео.html). I was hoping you had the same kind of front grill as the model I have because it's incredibly ridiculous to remove and I don't want to break it but, unfortunately your model appears to be newer thus, much easier to remove with those fold down clips. Anyway, hopefully I'll get this thing opened safely and without injury LOL and be able to clean it up nicely. Thank you for your videos and I guess it's time I subscribe. 😉
I quite like that little fan..Cleaned up really well too.
Me too! LOL.. It was easy to clean too,, just wiped everything off with water only..
Mine does not have the clips. Must be older. How do I open. No clips.
If you send me a photograph of your can, I can try to provide some insight..
Same for me, Connie. It's a bear to remove the front grill style I have.
Nice video @JordanU, thanks!

That's a very easy repair, send me some pictures so I could see the condition.
Oh my god. I just kept prying with screwdriver all around. Thanks for your video. Great fan. Don’t make the like this anymore. Worked. Thanks
Glad you got it figured out..
Great job. Thanks for posting this.
You're welcome..
Jordan U now that the motor is lubricated that fan should use less electricity and help save you money on your power bill.
True, the fan will be running more efficiently now..
O1/2m means 2000
OK
And of course the 01 means january
nice its a rare fan to find
Thanks..

I do not remember precisely, I think it was in the mid-late 90s..
I can't take it anymore. This can all be done in about 5 seconds without any disassembling.
If that's true, then why did you come to the video?
Btw, patton used sealed motors. If there's not a port, requires no oil
To see why u were disassembling obviously
@@incredifunk That's not true.
I like it
OK

Finger nails. Yikes
Spam commentary and a trash attitude. Now that's a yikes. Find something constructive to do with yourself; this isn't it.
@@JordanU trash commentary? At least i know how to trim my finger nails. Jesus
@@incredifunk That's a useless skill if you don't know how to interact with the rest of the world.
