You are a fighter, with a fighting spirit even stronger than many who have never been abroad. I mean, you drive in Douala, a city that I can barely stand walking on foot. No rules ! Celebrate you fighting spirit, I know many who without even having tasted the smoothness of life in Mbeng are so exhausted by Cameroon that they are tempted to give up
All that you’ve achieved so far ABL, from doing up your apartment ( gosh, that was a long time ago …🤭 ) to date, I am incredibly impressed … Chapeau bas … 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 Take care …
I do agree with you. Life in Cameroon is a fight at all angles and levels. You stop fighting, you lose. It would take quite a while to understand the dynamics. After that, it will get better.
Francophone don’t like money. That’s why they have lunch time. Ahahha. I am getting used to it. Almost Everything is closed on Sunday. Or by noon at most. 😅😅😅. Love America for the 24/7 stores.
Good question: couple years ago I would have said get it from abroad but custom fees (la douane) are ridiculously high nowadays 🤦🏾♀️. So cars have become more expensive as well. The downside of buying the car in cmr is that, the sellers are not trustworthy. They will mask/hide all car issues and even a regular mechanic guy would not be able to identify it until its too late. I bought my dad a car 2years ago in Douala and that’s what happened. I bought mine 3years ago from the US…. So i will say just do your due diligence and good luck ☺️

I am used to it by now but still do not understand the dynamics and been investing and working with folks here since 2017. It doesn’t get better 😂
@@Jennyleonce I totally get how you feel. In about 10 years time, you will master the system and it will work for you 😄.
