Great tune (Sunny) to showcase your immensely beautiful sound! It's the G&A by a mile, IMHO. The Beechler is a respectable second. What a treat to hear all of the expressiveness you brought to each piece! Thanks!

Very intriguing to discover you! I love your playing on Sunny! I was surprised at how good G&A sounded! Beechler has the best core tone and is inviting to hear. Malbec tended slightly flat but good, Verdot most like a Dukoff and amazing potential but may be to bright for modern sax sound.

I listened this video in the background, and when the crazily high notes were articulated with great clarity, I suspected that the instrument is not ordinary. That's not stuffy old Selmer; that instrument is actually stabile and evenly articulated across all registers, which is not the case with most saxophones. What is it?
@@Felicitysaxophonist I listened this video many times; the saxophone is brilliant. It has a sort of an old soul & looks, but plays like a 22nd century instrument. I know many players would choose Selmers, Yamahas, or any other big brand name ... But you chose small, almost unknown boutique instrument shop? I like that. Thanks for the video.
Hello there, You sounded simply amazing, astonishing, and awesome on all four mouthpieces. I was totally awestruck and spell bound by your video demonstration... especially your ability to modulate to a higher key with each of the mouthpieces as you progressed to the next one. Concerning your high range and altissimo register sounds... all I can say is WOW... double WOW... triple Wow,... and even quadruple WOW! Do you personally play much in the lower registers? I recently purchased a Barkley Kustom Pop hard rubber mouthpiece and a Jody Jazz DV metal mouthpiece (no regrets). Both are excellent mouthpieces. The Kustom Pop is fuller sounding while the DV is very free blowing (which I especially like). Also in the distant past, I owned a regular Beechler metal (not the custom model) alto sax mouthpiece. I found it to be very resistant and hard to play, so I sold it. By the way, my alto saxophone is a Selmer Mark VI. I play gospel saxophone on both in my church every Sunday. I just came across your video mouthpiece demonstration above, and I was so intrigued by the sound of the Verdot or the Malbec that I just may purchase one of them. Which of the two do you feel is the most free blowing (less resistant), the most expressive, and which had a fuller sound? Which was more velvety and mellow sounding to you? Do you know if the silver and gold plating affects the sound in either of the two mouthpiece models. Another question in general. When you learned to play vibrato on your sax, did you use the wah- wah-wah-wah, vah-vah-vah-vah, or yah- yah-yah-yah method? Scott Paddock who plays Barkley's Kustom Pop hard rubber mouthpie recommends saying doi-doi-doi-doi to practice and learn vibrato. My vibrato is very under developed... so I need your input as how to best learn and perfect it. Hope to hear from you soon. Too bad I couldn't understand any of the foreign (non English) the comments you received under the 4 mouthpiece video you posted. Thanks! Lester
Hello Lester, Thank you very much for your lovely message. 🙂❤️ Please , find my profile on Instagram @felicitysaxophonist and I can send you voice messages as your questions are very specific. To reply to your question about the mouthpieces. I really liked Verdot 8 and I just made a new video where I play Verdot 8 very smoothly in love register. The sound is just amazing. It’s a live recording. ruclips.net/video/qXSQZpi1ndU/видео.html As I explained in my review, the most important thing about the mouthpiece is the baffle. It’s probably more important than the material itself. In this case Verdot is really an interesting choice. About the vibrato sound. I generally don’t pronunce anything, it’s all about the breathing technique. If you will listen to my last video , you can notice that I like to gradually increase and decrease the sound. And with the vibrato is similar technique. I will love to do a video about the breathing technique. It’s difficult to me to explain it like this. But probably the wah-wah sound would be the closest to it. 🙂❤️ My best wishes and greetings! Let’s keep in touch! 🙂
Amazing solo and the sound and you are beautiful too wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just can't stop listening to your solo. My favorite mouthpiece is verdot, but I've ordered few days ago The Official Michael Lington Alto Mouthpiece by Oleg with Olegature and I'm still waiting for it. What do you think of this mouthpiece and how can I learn to play that kind of solo?
Thank you very much for your kind message Leszek. I don’t know that mouthpiece, so I can’t give my opinion ☺️ About the solo , I like to play things which are understandable for the listeners and I try to find some interesting rhythm patterns or musical ideas which might be engaging. When it goes to scales , I like very much Jerry Bergonzi improvisation series. Especially vol. 1 and 2
I was expecting you to play some Bach or alike since you are dressed like someone that is about to go to the opera, and then you go and play Sunny in quite a funky way 😂😂. Quite shocking, I may say! The Lola Astanova of the funky Sax!

Hello Lester,
Thank you very much for your lovely message. It’s a live recording. ruclips.net/video/qXSQZpi1ndU/видео.html
As I explained in my review, the most important thing about the mouthpiece is the baffle.
My best wishes and greetings!

The Lola Astanova of the funky Sax!
hello felicity actually i loved the G&A tone and sound where can i find it ?
