As a bird fan, this anivia did not know how to play this matchup. Her QE can take nearly half xeraths health early and because of he passive it's hard to die pre ludens. Not to mention she was trying to get lucky with Q’s early, whereas when Xer is channeling he's very vulnerable to stuns and his early Q’s don't hit that hard

Hey zwag, stattik shiv on Zoe is very strong late game. Build: ludens, shadowflame, deathcap, lich bane, stattik shiv
The only defensive item I've had luck with on Xer was Zhona's. But even that doesn't play into all scenarios. I would easily choose Zhona's over crown though esp into say Zed because you can actually time it perfectly to counter his ult. Esp if you play it under tower, you can plan it out to where he takes a hit or two. Other than that, I'd completely agree going full offense, Xer is just so squishy.
Then again, I'm speaking as someone who gives Zed a chance to ult me, so maybe you're better at not being in that situation. If that's the case, I'm in no position to argue with a Xer main lol, you'd beat me any day in this game based on rank (and gameplay in general, let's be real).

Zwag is playing with his main, love it, doesnt the opponents ever tell you "you are scripting" or "cheating" cause of those spell lands?

Do you think Scorch is better than Gathering Storm?
Scorch is better in high elo becuase of shorter games, i play in silver so the games often reach 30-40 minutes so i take gathering. You can take scorch to easier win lane but if you are confident in winning lane you might as well take gathering

First strike giving you gold as if you got 3 kills when you get 2.
Or as if one of them had a shutdown.
Thats kinda broken. I wonder how first strike gold affect the bounty system. If its like minion and turret gold, which barely affect bounties, then its broken
i don't think it directly affect the bounty system, but you get items quicker from the gold so that you can get more kills so that you get a bounty

Though I have to say, I really dislike Shadowflame; it's such a boringly strong item. 100 AP, 10-20 pen, and health. I wish there was at least some choice with it, like, maybe being exclusive with Void Staff so you have to pick if you want flat or percent penetration

I ban this champ every game because of how rough bot lane is now. Shieldbow is nerfed into the floor and BT doesn't give a shield now, so going against a Xerath supp is pretty much always a loss, on any of my 4 mains at least (Ashe, Cait, Kai'sa, Samira). Even with Cait's sustain page (fleet, bloodline, overheal), it's too much dmg to heal out of, not even including the enemy ADC. These recent item changes have just made things more chaotic and unbalanced than they already were imo lol

@@johnschonaman3876 well it's not bad for xerath but by the time you have 1 and a half item you oneshot them without that rune. biscuits/market is still better on xerath imo
Why does he gets gold whenever he hits hard the enemy? (don't really play this game)
His rune called First Strike. Within the first 3 seconds of champion combat (you can see his little blue orb next to him) he gets 70% of damage dealt as gold.
