Hello Ms. Girdler, Christopher Massara here. I was doing some team training about Lessons Learned and found your videos on youtube. I love your channel and content. Thank you for sharing. I have also followed you on LinkedIn. I have been in the space of project management for close to 30 years and am currently the PMO Manager at Empyrean, and your content is amazing. Thank you very much for sharing.
Hi Christopher. I am so happy you found my RUclips channel, and thank you for connecting on LI. I hope my content will continue to provide you with new insights. Thanks for watching, cheers!
Congratulations on your new journey as a PM! I do have a 45 min webinar that I think will benefit you as well. In this free training I walk you through the five key items needed on all projects, it's what I call the FAB FIVE FUNDAMENTALS OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT. The FAB FIVE are the 5 key items that you must do on every project - if you only do 5 things, these are them! It’s a great way to simplify projects, while still doing the essentials needed to ensure project success. Save your seat here: www.slayprojectmanagement.com/webinar Thanks for watching, cheers!
How do you suggest managing a project that has already begun and you're brought in to manage that project? Is it necessary to have a project Charter? Go through Charter pre-read, approvals? I don't want to bog down progress and feel that is what others believe is happening when I essentially halt movement or actual tasks from being completed for a week or so to get this established. I don't want to lose trust or commitment from the team. Also, TY for the video!
Hi Tosha. It’s extremely important that you have a charter so if there is t one you need to take the time to create one. If you already have one then ensure you go through it. Stay tuned because I do have a video coming out in the next while that will walk you through taking over a project already in motion. Thanks for watching, cheers!
Hi @AlessandroFavia, all of these project document templates are available in my course SLAY Project Management adrianagirdler.thinkific.com/courses/slaypm. Hope you check it out and thanks for watching, cheers.
Hello @@AdrianaGirdler , I see, but your course is definitely not free! so, this video is very interesting, and you link to a course that is quite expensive (600$). that's really bad, in my humble opinion. sorry, it's a big NO to me.
i have done everything in the description and watched the video for 30 min, and clicked the link, but am not able to find the downloadable documents anywhere
The project documents that I go over in the video are not available for download. I do however have my course SLAY Project Management. . In this course I walk you through the entire project process from start to finish to make sure you know exactly how to manage your project. It also includes all the templates you will need to keep you on track with your projects! You will also have access to the SLAY Project Management Facebook group where you can ask questions and share your wins with other Slayers! Here is the link to check it out adrianagirdler.thinkific.com/courses/slaypm
