I would love to see your take on a case regarding asthma sometime. It could be either an emergency visit to the ER with severe shortness of breath (would be interesting to see how you would treat it and how you would calm the patient down), a worsening of already excisting asthma, a general check-up of a patient with already diagnosed asthma or a patient with asthma-like symptoms that you diagnose. If you'd be comfortable with any of those of course :) Have a good week!

Actually, it was mud, not ice,, and it's my shoulder, not my arm. Should get my referral for an MRI tomorrow. So weird that this should come out the Sunday after I went to my actual doctor for (essentially) the same thing.

Ngl as someone who’s extremely clumsy but never slips on ice, this is insanely accurate but surprisingly haven’t broken any bones from clumsiness, last time was during playing sports and I got piled on top of and the angle my arm got laid on top of caused it to break. Teacher thought I was being a wimp and sent me home without saying anything so basically, I was in pain for a whole week or two before my parents had realised when my mom held my hand and it was a burning feeling that shot up my arm, I asked her to stop squeezing so tightly instead of squirming around like a 4 year old and she said “I’m not gripping your arm, I’m barely even holding it,” 😅 I went a whole week with my broken dominant hand, hurt like hell but I don’t like being called a wimp so I dealt with it until I couldn’t. Tbh I still just deal with pain until it becomes unbearable which is stupid but I’m not about to sit on the floor in the school gym just because I held too much weight on a machine and pulled a muscle, embarrassing even if I’m one of the strongest people there. 😓
