Any corrections I'll post here: -I pronounced "Shoshone" how I thought the Tribe name is pronounced, but I guess the locals don't and say "Show-shown" instead. -Bechtel Butte is a syncline, not an anticline, but the rumor Nira heard about the garnets being bigger in the plane of symmetry still applies - just flip that anticline image upside down in your head.
That was wonderfully edited and produced presentation Dr. Donohue. I rarely see anyone using "The Thirds" to inject whom is speaking, so for a guy that spent 3/4 of his life in the Broadcast Television Industry, I'm impressed. Well Done!
@@DonohueLabs "The Thirds" is a Broadcast term for the bottom section that unfolds/fades/swipes to present the name/location/title/information/etc. It's always on the bottom "Third" of a video/film/media prestation.
@@DonohueLabs Rocks Off Road is correct. You rarely ever see in any presentation the name of an Anchor Person or a "Breaking Alert" advisory (or whatever) up ontop of said visual... it's always in the 'bottom thirds' .
You are such a wonderful documentary-ist! The way you find people who are willing to take charge of the interview and clearly explain the subject. It's just wonderful! And makes for a interesting and informative documentary! Really well done! Thanks Patrick!
Fantastic. Sometimes researching star garnets can be tedious but you really were able to capture a lot of that research in one place and interviewed people knowledgeable on the subject from several different angles. From each of those angles you showed us a star!

Makes sense, the fold axis would recieve more mechanical stress than the limbs.

Thanks, John, though I'm not sure what "The Thirds" means lol
