2WD buggies are my favorite RC for dinking around. My B4 is tired and parts are difficult to find. While the B4 is decked out with all the optional parts made over the years, I believe it is best kept on lower KV and 2s with light driving for preservation. Because of this, I plan to purchase one of these RB10's in the coming months, likely around May since winter is almost here.

Same situation for me. My decked put losi bk2 i love but wanna preserve now. This looks like it'll scratch the itch I have to drive buggies again without costing me too much.

I think its a good base to work with, so are pro kits you have to build. Everyone's driving style and handling preferences vary. Great video

My home track is an old school outdoor track. I run 2wd buggy and the layback on my 6.3d does great, but I'm considering getting one of these to play around with and have a rear motor car. The guys running a rear motor always destroy us in 2wd buggy because they have so much rear grip.

Been waiting to see this buggy a while now, cant wait to see you run it including speed tests. I like the quality of Associated vehicles especially their entry level models, I already run the Rival MT & love it. I have also just bought the Pro 4 SC10 truck which was delivered to me yesterday, the RB10 might be on my future purchase list lol.

Looks like a great source of parts for our old Associated B4/B4.1s. Or the B5 rear motor I guess. Either way good for those looking for discontinued unsupported buggy parts which AE is famous for.

No parts on the RB10 will work on the B4. Completely different

Awesome content! I was wondering, I’m planing of picking one up this month and like you I’m running this as a basher and nothing more. I was wondering, I’m not a fan of the cab forward design body. Do you know of any company that sells bodies similar to a Gold pan buggy body or B2-B4 buggy body? And even the rims any of the likes of a star pattern style rim? I really don’t like those solid dish style rims. This is not gonna be a racer. I do like the 80’a and 90’s style buggy bodies. Thank you in advance.

I looked around but can’t find any old school bodies you best bet is to try a b4 body I am not sure on the shape of the chassis will work . And there is not much of a selection of wheels that aren’t dished maybe a 12mm hex tamiya wheel .

Yes you can it’s based on b5 dr10 chassis some b5 parts fit . But they also made a b5 mid motor and those parts in the rear don’t work upper rear suspension
