- It’s Race Day! Gassers racing head to head down the 1/64th scale 1/4 mile. 2 separate categories, Plastic tire and Rubber tire cars. The picks are in. The Hot Wheels track is covered in DRAGSTRIPS asphalt. The cars are staged and ready. Who will become “KING OF THE GASSERS”? Let’s see who takes it!

Well it's taken 4 years and I've finally picked a winning car, and the icing on top of the cake is I've gotten a shout out. Don't care if I never pick a winning car again as now I can retire happy😁

Let's be honest, to most of us watching Ghostjerker's videos Hotwheels were a significant part of our childhood and while I haven't got a clue of who's all grown up now looking back at the times we did play with Hotwheels, they sure as hell are never gonna be forgotten and left behind even if the majority of us here are adults.

For future reference, a car cannot get two bye runs in a row unless all of the other competitors to that point have also had a bye run.

Wow, I just noticed something. The 786 57 Chevy is not only the rubber tire KOTH but it is the first Maisto to hold that title on your track!
Cool thumbnail! Gives me the idea to do that for my O scale layout! I did that for an “over heated” car, but didn’t think to do it for a burn out! Niiice!

Favorite youtube channel ever
For doing the bye run, line the cars up, and have the boys pick cards. Use Diamonds and Spades. That way you can have the Ace's be 1 (for race one), 2's for Race 2, etc... Then use a Joker for the bye run. Let Josh and Manny take turns picking cards for each car, place the cards face down in front of the cars. Once all of the cards have been place in front of the cars, flip them over one at a time to figure out who's racing who, and who has the bye run.
Forgot, Diamonds means Right lane.
Super nice to see races that don't utilize lanes 3 or 4. The release lever should either be cut to prevent holding up cars at the starting line or avoid those middle lanes altogether, just like this video.

Banner day! For the first time one of my picks made it to the second round (Mr Gasket Passin Gasser). And then lost. Oh well. My rubber tire pick didn’t even make it to the finish line (the honker). Great racin’ guys.
You should do a "toy box" show... Show all of or most of your cars and a junkyard tour... What do you do with the total junked cars?
My cars may not have been able to make it to the finals, but I'm glad that they did the best they could. Can't wait for more races soon. I'm also a big fan of Josh, who pulls the trigger.

Great racing. Who makes that asphalt for the track? The tow truck is cool. Never seen one with the moving hook arm before.
Didn't officially pick southeast gasser but that was one of the two that i own so that was cool
What you should do that I have not seen you do yet is have race wars like in the movie Fast & Furious drag racing the Fast & Furious import cars and even race some of the Fast & Furious muscle cars against the import cars and have some of your other muscle cars challenge your Fast & Furious muscle cars and have your own hot import nights drag racing would be pretty cool. Thank You! for sharing this video it is pretty cool.

I was wondering where I can find that clear plexiglass thing to put the cars that become the winners? That is pretty cool! I have look for that but I can't find it and it helps if you know the name of it to find it. Thanks for sharing that is a cool track and a cool video.

Great racing as always! Your shoutout means a lot, I've given you guys a shoutout before as well! I can't believe this Maisto 786 and that I chose it. Those premium Elite Transport models by Maisto are some great-looking rides, wide variety of cars, trucks and trailers. I always get hung up on their name though, is it "my-sto" or "may-sto"?

Had a similar pinewood derby track and the ass heavy cars always dominate. Usually accelerate away at the bottom of the parabola. The closer the CG is to the rear wheels the better.

That Grave Digger Panel Van reminds me of the Grave Digger Pro Mod Car from 2002 in Real Life for I think the IHRA Drag Racing Series not the NHRA I don't think they ever did it in NHRA Pro Mod category, but that makes me wonder if they did the Grave Digger Pro Mod in Diecast Scale??
