Your arm is beautiful! I love watching the video's because you seem very happy with everything 😊 I wish you all the best and lots of happiness for you 😊
My mom was born is Oslo 🇳🇴 and I in Canada 🇨🇦 I was in Oslo in 2009 meeting my family for the first time. Your tattoo journey helped me with confidence that my disappointing overly black tattoo can be fixed with whites and greys. TAKK!!!! 🖤🤍🙏🏻🤍🖤
I'd be curious to know the life span of white on black? I have a tattoo on my back that was supposed to be a full moon, craters and all details, now i just have a faded greenish gray blob, I've been thing about blacking it out and redoing to details over with white, but does it last? This work looks amazing !!!
It will fade after healing, but it's hard to say how much. Mine still looks good, but the white is more grey than white now. So the contrast between the white and black won't last, so keep that in mind. But ofc a redo of the white details later can possibly help a bit. :)
Love the sleeve. I am in the USA and I am doing white over black. So far it's turning out good. My question is. How much fading occured after it healed? It's looking like I'm going to have to go over it again to get the desired effect.
All of this is beautiful. Pro Tip from our shop. When we glove a hand we invite them to come back after an hour for us to cut the glove off. We use medical scissors,(trauma sheers) to cut straight up the palm the snip each finger to gently peel the glove off.
I love your tattoo, and the concept. The whole black sleeve with white is a unique design and an acquired taste. I think it looks sweet!! I have a few questions, did your black sleeve start as a black sleeve or was It a cover up? And also is there a completely finished video for your black sleeve tattoo??
It's a cover up, yes. Not necessarily because my old sleeve was bad, but I just wanted this more. 😅 I filmed blogs for the black sleeve too, but they're in Norwegian. I think there are links in the discription below the video.
I always heard that white over black doesn’t hold well. I’ve got a really dark piece that I want a little highlight in but I’m scared to waste the money on something that won’t work. How has yours held up? Is it worth talking to my artist about throwing some highlights in to break it up a bit?
U should be a tattoo model.your tattoo turn out sick🤯I just got a full sleeve n the hand!!the wrists n hand hurt alot n for days after to.i wish I thought of putting on a glove it would of been easier to look after🤯🤯👍👍
I wish I have the money to have tattoos like yours, I have a sleeve on my right hand and another one from right knee down to my ankle and bunch of random ones all over my left hand. Each has meaning and story but yeah I wish they were done by a real good tattoo artist. Anyways the white on black came out good!cheers from Jakarta, Indonesia.
I love it. I can not wait to see final result. Watching your video, it kinda want me to finish my full sleeve this 2020. I just dont have time to do it (for now)
Hi love your content... I currently have a blackout arm and I am planning to put geometric design in white ink... Is it worth it? I mean does it really work even when healed? Appreciate if you can respond as I know you can answer from experience... Thanks... God bless
I can only speak on behalf of myself and my experience, but my sleeve still looks great. It will depend on ink, artist, technique and individual differences tho.. So I can’t tell you what to do. Just be sure to pick an experienced artist if you choose to do it. :)

I like blackout with white ink, i'll probably make a cover in my tradi chest and one shoulder, im reading and taking some ideas... I think the blackout needs 3 sesions to be solid, and then also the white ink is about 3 or 4 sesions... Beautiful sleeve
Hello, Im a new subscriber, The skull tattoo that you have on your tricep, did you do it before or after tattooing your entire arm in black? I would like to know if it was done with white ink
So glad to have been here for this journey. I just went for my second appointment for my blackout sleeve, and we just covered my elbow area. Man, that spot sucks. I'd love to send you a photo of how mine has been coming along. I couldn't be happier with my blackout. Much love from Canada!
Hei hei i have actually also a project like that. I mean white on black. How is it with the color? Does the white last over time or does it fade away like "other colors"? I mean i feel its specially with tattoos now that the color is not really last that well. 10 years ago the colors where very diffrent and lasted forever if you know what i mean. ;) would love to have an answer from you as a independent tattoo artist thanks a lot ❤
Tattoo ink will always change in your skin over time. But it depends on a lot of different factors how the tattoo holds up. White over black will most likely fade more/quicker than a regular tattoo. But I got the result I wanted. :) I might have to go over the white again in some years if I find it necessary.
hey, what does the black & white look like after six months or longer? Does the white color go away? and do you have to pay attention to something when tattooing or just on the black spot over white? must the black color have healed before or may can be fresh? best regards
My white pattern is not healed for six months yet, so I don't know.. It will fade with time but you never know how much. Black should be healed for a while before starting with white on top.. I waited 5-6 months.
Just got half my arm tattooed all black, but i was really scared and was wondering if i should take tattoo removal but for some reason this made me realise it just Looks cool, and i’m just afraid of my family hating it, but i don’t think it mathers cuz i’ll just tell em that if they are going to hate me only based of a tattoo…. Well then there is no hope haha🥰 thank you!!!!
Hello, gorgeous! So, I have a question... Or a few actually... 🙈 How long did it take for your blackout sleeve to heal before you started to put the white ink art on it? How long were the periods of time that you leave in between sessions for the white art? How many sessions did this took all together? 4 including the blackout? Would use of ametop or any other numbing cream affect the results of the color in the tattoo? (I have almost a full sleeve done myself, I used a numbing creme on most of it, did not seem to affect the tattoos, but I wonder would it affect such a huge work as blacking out and putting on white ink) Also, is this possible on any sleeve? I am thinking about blacking out my unfortunate tattoos and getting some white ink on... Sorry if you have already answered some of these questions in your videos and I have not noticed... Thank you in advance! Love the ink on you!!! x
I can’t believe how you’re sitting so still while he’s doing your knuckles 😧 super cool
🙈😅 heh thanks.. It hurt a lot for sure, but it's worth it!
