I think the faces work well enough because they went for a more "animated" look instead of the "sculpture" look CCBS star wars did. Unfortunately, these seem to have had a price hike since the Spider-Man ones, and although they look better I don't know if I can justify paying over 50AUD for these. I still don't think these look better than the CCBS builds.
I’m hopeful they improve the shoulders more than anything. Really trying to play you’ll pop off the shoulder armor part. I’ll never say no to constraction! Will definitely buy Batman once, maybe twice for parts
SW shoulder pieces still alive and kicking, seen in buildable figures and Dreamzzz theme. OH, and the fact that these new figures have 5 digit hands, as oppose to the 4 digit ones seen with Spider Man and earlier Bionicle lines with 3. And they finally, proper colored 2L axels as seen on Batman and Cap, using the correct colors for the color schemes of their feet pieces and overall color bodies. Miles should have used black axels cause of predominantly black suit, and Peter the red axels.
@@Funky_Player2 No, the ones you are talking about were used on Spider Men, Iron Man and Venom, these are the SW CCBS ones used in the past. They have a rounder shorter concave pauldron shape, the other ones have sharper ends.
I've seen nothing but hate for these reveals, but I never understood it at all. They look perfectly fine. The builds look fun and the heads look totally fine
i am so hyped! (June first is my birth day, so thats fun to!) i do wish for ccbs, but man, this the greatest looking stuff in this new line of figures! i would love to see a ultron in this stile, wether he had a brick built head or one of these heads, i would not care
Well, I remember saying they'd probably stay away from figures with faces, and turns out I was wrong. They still look a little weird, but that's more down to the facial expressions of the prints. Batman's is definitely the most successful. Cap's got some DUPLO face going on while Wolverine has this grin, which doesn't feel out of place, but I think you'd want more of a scowl or even a yelling expression. He's the best at what he does, and what he does ain't nice, but I guess that also doesn't mean he can't take pleasure in his work. Oh, and those fingers on Cap, yeah, someone at LEGO's gonna regret that decision real fast because Day 1, someone's gonna take one of those fingers and make it a schlong. At least, that's the first thing I thought of because I know that's just how immature the AFOL community can be. Just visit the Wayback Machine and look at what people were doing and saying on MOCpages as adults, some of them even being parents. Like, we don't actually grow up, some of us are just a bit more reserved in displaying just how immature we actually are.
Personally I really like batman, think cap looks fine, but really don't like wolverine. Still don't like any of the prices, but that can be said about most lego sets nowadays unfortunately.
Here's my theory about the Bionicle 2025 rumor, the matoran will be in those mystery boxes, the toa will be in a style of that tahu GWP with a gear function and some custom pieces, and the titans and rahi will be in the style of these figures
Gorilla arms, tiny torsos, stumps for hands, clown shoes, empty backs, flat torsos, etc....not exactly. I love Bionicle, but they were not cleaner proportioned ether.
@@Bionickpunk the gorilla arms, tiny torsos, stumps for hands, clown shoes were probably intentional to build more character, but the human proportions in this new buildable figure looks off. Though the flat torsos and empty backs were pretty ugly especially for hero factory
I genuinely really like the Batman figure, and that scares me. I don't know where I'm gonna put 100 great-looking constraction figures, Bionicle Gen 3 or otherwise!
If the rumour of boncle coming back in 2025 is true this is most likely how lego would do them
That or the blob man from dreamzzz
@@malegends6066 either one would be cool :)
I wouldn't have a problem with that honestly
I hope there in the same Universe with ninjago just like chima
@@gandalflotr2898 bro, you literally commented something similar to this on another video. Bionicle is totally seperate to Ninjago and Chima.
Can’t wait to use that new cape. Hopefully we get some more. Could get a cool designed cape if we receive a doctor strange.
Ohhh a Doctor Strange would be awesome!

Honestly i LOVE these sets they may not look that good but i still love these, wolverine is my favorite out of them all.
It kills me inside knowing licensed themes have officially polluted the ultrabuild side of things alongside their near-entire takeover of system.
Yea but at least theres still hope for the future of constraction
I’m hopeful they improve the shoulders more than anything. Really trying to play you’ll pop off the shoulder armor part.

I built the Batman figur last week and it's an absolutely awesome addition to my collection.

Those shoulder pieces are actually different from the Star Wars versions.

The fingers look cursed. I'll be definitely getting Wolverine.

Caps face seems more duplo than Lego to me personally 😅
Finally someone agrees with me I love this theme can’t wait to pick these up
In truth, this could be a good revival of Knight’s Kingdom
others I'm not hyped about at all, but I have my sights on that batman figure 👀

That would be great if they made some specialy molded mask instead of a sticker/prints
I build captain america today and I loved building him
Also great selection of pieces for making your own mocs
What’s Next? Disney characters and Starwars and more
Honestly though hero factory and bionicle looks cleaner proportionally than these new models

I'm glad that Lego technically made an amalgam comics character. That character being Dark CLAW.
Waiting patiently for the ransom_fern Captain America...
Oh dang that be great!
Wolverine is almost a home run but the ear things just look too flat from the front

Cool
Wolverine kindAass, capt. America is Mid, but BatMan is FR FR
The old constraction Batman head looks better imo. This new one is just odd. But that cape and everything else looks great. Also FINGERS!
Is anyone else thinking about buying the Batman only to put him inside either 1989 UCS sets because I am.
I look at the batman figure and think, "oh yeah, vezon gets a fresh new cape!"
No way you said the captain America was great the only really great one I would say is Batman
Está bien ésto estl de LEGO
Waist swivel!!!
I don’t like these because I’m afraid this might be the future of Bionicle…
They are so clunky, fragile, parts guzzling and just awful. No no and no.
Any idea when these sets are coming out?
They are currently in stores for me
@@BenCossyOfficial oh neat!, maybe lego just forgot to put them on their website cause i cant find the batman one on there
