This is a really unique version of Phantasm! During Sonic’s first part, his voice seems…crackly, like he’s breaking down, starting to lose control, yet Fleetway’s part in the beginning was really echoey and smooth. For the second ‘verse’ they both seem to switch between effects, like Sonic was confident at first before he lost it again. That echo stays within Fleetway till close to the end of his second part, and this continues throughout the rest of the song, as if the two aren’t just struggling, they’re having a fight.
