Let me tell you your thought process is totally wrong just college doesn't matter even students in top colleges don't get placed with high packages it is just your hard work which matters along with sincerity it doesn't matter whether you are from top college or not believe me if you don't change your thought process and by chance you do not get selected into IIT or even NIT or IIIT it will pain like hell you will regret it very much and suicidal thoughts will start coming therefore please change your thought process as even low colleges students can give the GATE exam to get into IIT there is always a second chance and just believe in hard work and be consistent
