You should do a full video on the fps / general performance differences with P cores + E cores enabled + HT on VS E cores and HT off. Crunch those numbers for the COD bros!

Need to also do P cores no HT with the E cores enabled. The Intel Director order is P cores physical cores first then the E cores and finally the virtual P cores when assigning threads to cores.
You should do testing in middle of map to see when cpu is hit hard with gameing and streaming and what about 1% lows in middle of map , but is good and sufficient for single pc streaming

From my experience with quite a lot purpose build PC any high end machine like 13900/8k or 7800x3D paired with 4090 or 7900xtx will throw in El Mazrah around 220-250 fps after landing in the middle of the map (like obserwatory). Those 300 well maybe somewhere on the edge? Anyway, love single stream builds, nice one.
What settings though? Are you using fidelity fx cas?

Cool! ❤When can I expect to see the next FASTEST single PC Stream Build? I only get about 240fps-255fps on a single game/stream of. With my peasant performance I had to get a 240hz “fourteen forty pee” oled gaming monitor instead of a 360hz 1440p ips. 😂

For the extra 500$ would it make sense to pop in a 4060 or A750 in there and dedicate it to AV1 encoding? Also maybe a second NVME for your recording directory. Just an idea because I think your CPU has lots of legs left to not be where you are losing that 3.5% FPS.

Doesn't the RTX4090 have 2 NVENC chips for streaming?
Pretty sure he was already using that 4090 for both recording & streaming. NVENC today has close to no impact on performance. And it really doesn't make that much sense to get a whole nother GPU to ruin the aestetic for encoding that cuts about 1% GPU performance that only works on RUclips currently.
Actually not sure, he may have been using the IGPU. I mean that’s why he went with that chip and mobo. So now I wonder, what if you forget the IGPU and just let the 4090 do it all, which is better? Also, I’m sure you could get a water block for the other GPU as well if aesthetics are that important. Theoretically it might not have anything to do with hardware, the 3.5% drop could be software related as well, he is running a lot of extra stuff for the streaming.

Nope. Pretty sure the system is on Win10, so can't really reap the rewards any how. On Win11 E-cores definitely are beneficial in most games. Some games like all P-cores.

for the i9 14900k memory controllers have a max officially supported DDR5 clock speed of 5,600 mhz. Im new to building a PC, but im going all out and would appreciate some advice on which ram of the trident to buy? I have a 4090 and intel 14900k.
Secondly, how should i go about cooling the GPU? I plan to get a NZXT kracken 360 elite cooler for the GPU. Is that enough to cool the 14900k or do I need a 420?
I also purchased the asus rog z790 a gaming mother board. Im going for an all white build so the only other asus rog option is the formula, but its for a water cooled PC. Will the A gaming mother board suffice for a 4090 and 14900k?

You built a gorgeous PC! You definitely know what you're doing. I've never done a custom loop but it doesn't look too hard and I'd love to try! Is it standard to have the CPU exhaust going into the GPU? I would think that having a different loop for the GPU would be better, but more complicated.

There is one big issue with one pc stream that no one talk about it - it’s add a lot of input latency and there is no way to fix it.

I’m looking at beck marks and contemplating upgrading my motherboard I’m running a formula z690 6600 gskillz ram running at 7200 stable can’t get any higher then 7200 no matter what I try 13900k is it even worth it for Warzone the videos I see show a 4-5 fps gain at 8000 is about the fps gaini would get in 1440p 13900k at 8000 only 4-5 fps ?

is that a cable mod 180 adapter if so i would check with cable mod because they have revisions for those i believe, i only say this because i had a 4090 tuf oc that the adapter melted to the 16pin connector on the card fully seated you cant even tell it melted, welded on the inside had to rma through asus luckily no issues with them my sticker was removed because of water block also cable mod emailed me discount codes to replace all the 16 pin adapters i puchased plus the 16pin to 4 8pin cables i have

Was this using the 4090's NVENC to stream and with the 13900ks E-cores disabled? Something about buying a 13900ks just to disable the E-cores just feels off to me.
He was probably using intel quicksync, so igpu
It’s just a bit of waste of money, you can pick a 13700k disable the ecores and overclock to 5.7ghz…

Aesthetics look great. Just have a 12700KF 7900XTX. I haven't done much with it yet to test gaming/streaming, it records fine while gaming though. 32GB DDR5.

I am STRUGGLING with this asus Z790 board even after downclocking my ram from 7600 to 7000. I gotta get that consult soon. Def think I'll go for a diff board next time. All i do is fafo with asus hardware.

The FPS drops are not that significant as more erratic frame times/stuttering and worse frame consistency when streaming. That's the worst thing about single PC streaming.

So was E cores back during the streaming test or were you using the GPU to stream ?
Thought you wouldn't lose any FPS if the GPU doesn't reach 99% usage i guess it takes a little hit anyway if you use the GPU
i wonder if you have spared GPU performance since in this case they are still CPU limited if you could use H265 instead and not lose anything maybe @@abs1_

Makes no sense to not use nvenc. Totally illogical. Especially if you're streaming to twitch which maxes out at 1080p 6k bitrate. Streaming from igpu looks like ass in comparison to nvenc to.

I get 90fps on the most demanding track on dirt rally 2.0 at 4K while streaming, optimized settings (almost all ultra with some high settings) on a 6750xt and a 5900x
