That's a lot of water. We only get a little rain in the mountain deserts of Colorado. It was also interesting how the water pipes just run along the ground; we have to bury ours a few feet, or they will freeze in winter.

My wife is from Legazpi and we are going there in December, right before Christmas. Although I've traveled overseas a good bit with a previous job, this will be my first trip to the Phillipines. I think December is part of the rainy season, but Lord I hope it ain't raining this much!!!!! Wish me luck lol.

I was in Thailand when it rained like that. Except cars were floating down the street. It was up to neck level. It was pouring into my hotel lobby and filling up the elevator shafts. My moped was underwater. The rental guy said he had never seen it like that before. It was incredible.

The heaviest rain I've seen in my life was in Pampanga, it was heavier than this by a good shot.
I wear a size 15 shoe and was thinking about ordering rubber high top boots to leave on my next trip to the PI. Then I saw that person on the street take their boot off and pour the water out. Maybe I’ll also need some hip waders for the really big rains.
