    You Deserve It All by Josh Baldwin. SO. GOOD. I love this song. Thank you so much for the request! Through every loss and victory, my soul will rise to give you glory. Why do we sing these truths? Because they are in SCRIPTURE, God’s revealed Word. Praise God for his Word to us, that we have an infallible source that allows us to know God and to test everything to ensure we are walking in light and not in darkness!

    No wonder you call the brown guitar the weapon. The white guitar has some nice harmonic overtones to it, but the brown one is so laser-focused! Same body woods or different? Beautiful playing. I've learned a lot from you. Thanks!

      The white one is Swamp Ash. The Brown is Alder, I believe. I bought that one used, so I'm not sure the specs.

    What is that chord being arpeggiated in the verse? G?

    • @thisiscellaich
      @thisiscellaich 2 года назад +1

      D - 4
      G - 0
      B- 3
      It’s a Dsus4 without the D note on the A string.

      Explain this line to me. "You see what's hidden under the surface
      You see the beauty under the tarnish." I'm struggling to understand the biblical support for saying there's beauty under the surface. Thank you.

      Guitar for HIS Glory I think it’s simply acknowledging that God though we have a rough surface that shows what our past may have been or what sin we’ve held on to cannot stop Him from seeing the value from within us and that He is willing to who ever may come into His presence be refined and molded into what they have described as “Gold”. I think there is several verses that back up what they are talking about.

    • @GuitarforHISGlory
      @GuitarforHISGlory  4 года назад +1

      @@leadguitaristtdtw, please provide the verses that say we are beautiful under the surface. I'm not talking about value here. I'm not talking about inherent beauty.

      Guitar for HIS Glory you’re gonna have to be more specific as to what you disagree with bro. I think you may be looking too much into a song. Please do tell what you are not understanding.

      Guitar for HIS Glory
      One of my favorite stories of all time is as follows:
      “As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities. The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: ‘He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.’ (Malachi 3:3) She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed. The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, ‘How do you know when the silver is fully refined?’ He smiled at her and answered, ‘Oh, that’s easy - when I see my image in it.”
