What is the input from the other members of the GNU. To succeed we need all of you to fight against these Mafias. It is not a DA issue but a country issue.
Stop making a complete idiot of yourself !!! Did they stoped all these so called Mafias ??? The answer is ...NO !!!! what are the changes the DA made so far???? SA is still moving backwards at a rapid pace.... Not forward !! Domkop !!!
The problem with South Africa or ANC Government, the Police Force never enforced the law but decided to look the other way for over 30 years and now all of a sudden they realise we dont have a sound economy any longer and no credibility left on the International stage, so now they quickly hand it over to the DA to sort out. I hope they do.
Trying to build a livelihood, only to be met with systemic issues like crime, exploitation, and disrespect. Many entrepreneurs in South Africa face similar barriers, particularly when trying to operate in sectors dominated by informal or exploitative networks. 1. The Protection Mafia Issue The "protection mafia" problem in some areas, especially in the informal economy, is a serious issue. Many small business owners encounter these groups demanding "protection fees," which can make running a business unsafe or unprofitable. Reporting such activities to law enforcement is an option, but unfortunately, corruption and inefficiencies in some areas can make this process difficult or even dangerous. 2. Crime and Lawlessness in Pretoria The rise in crime and lawlessness affects everyone, especially those trying to start over in a new city. Pretoria, like many urban centers, has areas where crime rates are high, and challenges such as poorly regulated transport systems add to the frustration. 3. Taxi Industry and Lack of Respect The taxi industry in South Africa has a long history of being both vital and contentious. Its unregulated nature often leads to reckless driving, disrespect for road rules, and even violence among operators. This makes it challenging for ordinary road users to navigate the roads safely.

DA is responsible for the Western Cape.....have been for a number of years. I can't see what they've done for Bonteheuwel Manenberg Hanover Park Khayelitsha Nyanga etc. There should've been change in our communities by now.....but things have become worse. I do pray that it becomes better🙏🙏🙏

This is not a John's problem, but an ANC problem as Ramaphosa chose to give the police minister and intelligence portfolios to uneducated, incompetent, useless black persons.
Thought you knew DA has no control over law. That is national. Unfortunately ANC government absent. No leadership now STRONG GNU members trying to save what they can. Let's all assist for the sake of the younger generation and root out all evil in this country.
@@llandman9791 Always an excuse. Why not take responsibility? If they wanted to do something they would have, but now that extortion mafias make the headlines suddenly they wanna "tackle" it.
The DA is not a government or law enforcement agent. It seems the DA is trying to run a parallel government. These matters are better handled by relevant law enforcers over which the DA has oversight through its participation in the GNU. Talk about hanging your dirty linen in public. Your agenda is out there for all to see. The platform to make proposals is parliament which it is a member of rather than a party media briefing. Many voters are starting to question and regret this GNU arrangement.
If not for DA there would be no ANC and no country. Our biggest coward head of state hiding somewhere to much of a slapgat to show some form of leadership. They paralyzed Gauteng, Tswane on purpose wutb Cyrils blessing....on purpose allowing chaos so they can loot as much as fast as possible.
DA, you got so much to say. Did you do the same with the housing settlement and with the IT tender scandal. Sort your party out before sorting others. Yall hypocrites.

If the actual police did their jobs this would not be able to happen.
ANC has done nothing about this and not going to start now
@Razzmatazz. How much crime has been prevented by Lesufi's Green Brigade? None, they were appointed to get votes.
