This is the song that made me fall in love with Deftones. It’s when I realized they aren’t just any ordinary metal band, and they’re something really special. And then it’s followed by Elite… wow. One of my favorite albums ever, and it’s not even my favorite Deftones album.

This one got me BIG TIME too, every time I’d go to see them in San Diego I’d hope they’d play this one…and Knife Party. Still can’t get enough so many years later 🙌💯

Unforteuntally only on videos, I love Deftones but when it comes to live performence. It's quite sad to be fair.
I did see some of the videos from 90-00 and it was completely different vibe, quite punky very energetic, so it makes sense that Chino is missing most of notes completely, but still has that raw power that just stuns you.
These days, not really.... and it is quite obvious and easy to notice especially when they are touring with new bands that are so fucking tight it's beyond reality.
This was the ultimate track on the album in my opinion. Such a beautiful and crazy song that touches my soul.

Finally found a comment pointing this out..Chino for damn sure wasn’t playing most of the guitar parts. This guy just goes up and plays the chorus for each track. I guess...I could just watch the music video for that.

Chino is definitely very guitar and vocally intensive on this track
A lot of the lead/mdlodic/atmospheric parts of White Pony were surprisingly done by Chino, even live. Change In The House of Flies is predominantly done by him too.
Deftones are my favourite band, and I’m not even a “metal” guy… they are in a category of their own.

The fact that he’s playing this on a Telecaster gained my respect to infinity. Super underrated and misunderstood guitars, it really shows the versatility and how he’s playing on it with a song like this.
It might have the shape of a Telecaster, but everything else is classic ESP. The pickups, the bridge, the neck. Don’t let the looks fool you.

Everything about this song is perfect and is in a class of its own when compared to every other deftones song. This song was so perfect for its time and is my personal favorite song of all time.

The song that almost reduces me to tears every time I hear it. All of these playthroughs have been incredible, but you can see how much Stephen loves this one. Perfection.

This song just highlights how important Chino is to Deftones evolution as a band. Stephen here is basically relegated to a rhythm guitarist. Those dreamy chords and notes at the beginning seemingly coming from Chino.

Meh. The addition of Lovers, Beware, and Combat is incredible but otherwise it’s a pretty generic/safe set. I wish there was more of Ohms and few more deep cuts. Deftones don’t have bad music so no matter what it’s gonna be great; those are just my gripes.
Deftones are a whole vibe. And I honestly don't love any other music as much as theirs.

I remember when I first heard Deftones Change on the radio when I was a teen I was blown away so I saved enough money to buy their cd and when I heard this song, Ive been hooked to this band ever since. Cant wait to see them live for the first time May 19th.

I was 17 years old in the Air Force stationed in Greenland when my supervisor introduced me to this band. The moment I listened to this song I immediately fell in love and was obsessed. Digital bath is one of those songs you can play over and over and still get that feel like it’s your very first time listening.
