In all fairness…. With a crowd that big and loud…. And you could hardly even tell in slow motion….being blocked by catcher….one of the hardest calls to make in all of baseball.

Love that Heim got his redemption, but I was really rooting for Langford to walk it off with the bases loaded in the tenth inning his very first game.
Can't ask for much more than that. Solid start for Eovaldi, bullpen looked pretty solid. Offense will start clicking even more soon.

I'm glad Heim was able to redeem himself in the 11th, but that play in the 10th is absolutely inexcusable. You ALWAYS finish the play. I hope he learned his lesson there.

Great game but I hope something was said to Semien regarding that play at the play. Dude ran right at the catcher like a homing missile. He should have had the walk off right there and then if he goes outside with some effort.
It was a bases loaded force play, the catcher just needs to step on the plate.
Yep, it was a force out, so that's why Semien was out at the plate.
There's cameras at every angle. Why we don't have reviewable plays on bad calls that result in scoring is beyond me. Seems outdated and makes me think umps are bad calling themselves out of a job eventually 😂
