My twin brother is named Bob, so he's an uncle to my six kids, my four grandchildren, my sisters' four kids, and two grandchildren. ❤️ We live in the US, so that's not really a phrase we use, but it's a great one! I like to watch shows from the BBC, so I definitely hear it there. You'll probably never read this comment, because I'm a year late, but I really like your channel. It keeps me company while I crochet.
THEY LOOK AMAZING!!! Thanks for the encouragement and teaching, I feel like this actually is a perfect beginner project!! And the trick about cutting the pant legs to sew more easily blew my mind... literally the other day was just thinking about how to sew pants without scrunching them up and getting them stuck in my sewing machine
Love these I've been thinking about thrift flipping jeans to be like the ones from ragged priest so this is really helpful. Also if you still have spare fabric; patchwork bucket hat!
I love the stitching on the brown jeans, I feel like taking just the pocket and putting that over the small pocket on the khaki pants would look really great
Those pants are a work of art, Jenna! Incredible how you turned 3 random pairs of pants into one fabulous pair of patchwork pants! Bravo! Love your videos! Keep them coming!😍
WOW... you have so much more patience than I could ever dream of having! I tried to learn how to sew when I was young... I am an "olster" now! But I HATED it! I cross stitched and did many other crafty things as I worked as a Graphic Artist for many, many years. But sewing just made me want to run screaming into the street! I commend you and I admire your talent and wonderful creativity. Those jeans are incredible!
omg this is THE ONLY thrift flip video of this kind of pants that actually makes sense. ive been wanting to do one on my own but i just dont understand previous thrift flip videos that i watched. really glad i stumbled upon your room makeover which brought me to your other videos and then eventually here. definitely gonna subscribe
I was thinking after finishing school making these type of patchwork jeans because I have a bunch of excessive material so I'm glad it's easier then I thought to do :)
I just got a sewing machine for Christmas and you have inspired me soooo much! I really want to do this! I’ve already used your bag tutorial and I loved how it turned out!!❤️❤️
Love the end result. And you now have a designer pair of jeans that also happen to include the Escada jeans. I have so many pairs of thrifted jeans here for making handbags and backpacks but had planned to use some for this project to and you have inspired me!
You rock, Jenna don’t worry about the people that give you a hard time if there’s a way to block them, you should I don’t even know why people get on things like this, and are so critical and nasty, I mean, don’t watch it then, right! I can’t say enough nice things about you I just think you’re so cool and upbeat and such an inspiration, and who cares if you cut up a pair of designer pants if they don’t like it, they can go out and buy another pair for themselves Who cares right? You rock stay the way you are your Jenna!😊❤
obsessed with your patchwork and stitching! always wanted to thrift but never had a thrift store nearby. love your videos and sense of style all over pinterest. be you be beautiful!
Was about to say you should have kept the side with the tag of the brown jeans. Then it made more sense. Doesn't matter though because they're still really pretty
Omg sis you are so talented. You should take orders if anyone wants these kind of pants because you are so amazing. You are so down to earth and adorable. Take care and be safe. God bless you both, your family and friends. Love you sis ❤❤❤❤❤❤
In 10 years we’ll be seeing nostalgia comments here reminiscing about patchwork pants and other trendy diy projects we tackled while bored in the quarantine era
These are awesome! You mentioned if we want non-frayed seams we could do right-side together. I'm having trouble picturing how that would work with the pieces attached to the base pant. If you happen to see this comment, I'd love your insight! I want to recreate these without the fray (even though the frayed bits are cute)
Great job Jenna! The pants look great and you did a really good job at describing what you were doing at each step and I am VERY impressed! Great flip! If you get two pants that fit you well, and piece them together using the waist and zipper etc...the third pair can be any size I would think?! For the third pair of pants you could use a bigger pair or men’s pants so you would have quite a bit of material left over and maybe you could make a purse/tote bag, or the top you were planning! I love your thrifting videos, but also really like it when you do thrift flips! 😁
You are such and inspiration to me! I just started my thrifting journey and you are giving me so many ideas and teaching me some good ways to exel my wardrobe! Thank you!
If you still have the scraps, could you try to make the matching corset? I really enjoy this video and I’m going to try it tomorrow. Keep up the the good work!
agree who cares if they were designer. i know you said you wanted to get into designers but if you didnt know or didnt like it in its original form it doesnt matter who made it
I do in fact have an Uncle Bob and he is the most Bob person you will ever meet (90s haircut, beard, 80s glasses, has worn the same shoes for 20 years, still uses a flip phone, obsessed with sloths)
Wow these turned out amazing! I have a question, anyone knows if the 3 pants needs to be kind of the same level of Spandex and streach? I can't use one pants of streachy pants and the other rigid pants with no streach right
Just sew the Escada label on the back and then they'll be designer pants again
haha yes
💡
Who cares about the designer label. You created a masterpiece!!! Awesome work, I love them😍
YOU NEED TO BECOME A STYLIST OR A DESIGNER OR SOMETHING YOUR STYLE SENSE IS IMMACULATE
That makes me want to cry. You don’t know how much that means to me to read your comment ❤️
As a child of the 1960s and 70s, I can’t describe how much I LOVE these pants! They are amazing!
I was born February 64!

They came out so cute 😭 thank you for giving a detailed explanation of what you did I’m about to do this 😌🥰
You're a very creative and talented seamstress. I'm envious!
First the amazing cow print pants and now these! Wow! You are so talented!
I was thinking after finishing school making these type of patchwork jeans because I have a bunch of excessive material so I'm glad it's easier then I thought to do :)
Those are really nice. I wish I knew how to sew. Custom clothing makes clothing look like it was made for you.
This Jenna was happier !!!!
Absolutely love the way they came out! I'm going to try this!!!
I just got a sewing machine for Christmas and you have inspired me soooo much! I really want to do this! I’ve already used your bag tutorial and I loved how it turned out!!❤️❤️
