I am glad you didn’t let the gorgeous white CF stop you from getting the gray, they are COMPLETELY different, the problem is most ppl sees the color lighter than it truly is IRL. I think the store photos are kinda confusing so I wasn't sure if it was for me until I got to see it on Instagram and in person! It's definitely different from white! Yes to same bags!

But can’t afford 2 bags at the same time he he but grey is just so elegant. Specially with white blouse and denim jeans. Just so so subtle 😍
I think grey color is much more versatile. You can wear it with black outfit and black shoes or with light colder shades neutrals, with bright outfits as well. Black color looks much more harsh and formal in my opinion
