Watched every game of this season, And only real OKC/Russ fans know that this season was more amazing because of comeback wins and game winners/tying shots, More than it was Triple Doubles, Just the rush and suspense every game, because every game came down to the wire and we knew russ would show up, It literally felt like watching a movie, for every single game, And thats why I stand by saying this was one of the best MVP seasons in history, due to the fact that even if russ didn't average the Triple Doubles there were so many other factors to why this was an MVP season, and you would've had to watch every single game to understand that
I totally agree. People say Harden got robbed but for as good as Harden played idk how tf you can say that this wasn't deserving of an MVP. So what OKC finished in 6th place & got eliminated in the 1st round, they weren't supposed to make the playoffs in the first place
One of my favorite regular season ever. KD left the summer before and everyone thought Russ was next to go. He got the bag and put the team on his back basically solo (Adams, Sabonis, and Oladipo weren’t as good as they are now). Willed this team to the playoffs w the buzzer beater against Denver that also capped the year averaging a trip dub. Goat Brodie.
I’m the biggest okc fan and this is the most dominant season I’ve ever seen in my life. And yet he gets hated for it. The most explosive point guard of all time. The only one to do the unthinkable. He’s done something no one has seen in 60 years. He didn’t do it just once but 3 times! unbelievable!!! People were witnessing true greatness and all they can talk about is hatin on him for something. It’s truly sad. This is truly the most impressive, unheard of, dominant season by the Brodie🚫🧢

It really sucks that he won't be appreciated until he retires but he will be appreciated someday. Theirs absolutely no way a player of his caliber is gonna be forgotten
