It’s looking really good Charlotte, i love gardening and this was right up my street. If you do decide to do away with the sand pit then drill some holes in the bottom and put in some plants that’s what I did when my children got too old for ours. You could also make a bird bath/ feeder with the water table if the children don’t play with it. It’s always lovely for them too see what they’ve created from old toys. You could even paint old tires with them lovely colours you bought all cheap and cheerful ideas. Have fun and keep up the good work.😁xx

You already seem to know so much about the plants you have put in, and you are cleverly mixing cuttings from family with bought plants. Great job, Charlotte, and good that you're not rushing in to 'complete ' the garden within a strict timeframe.
Lovely vlog Charlotte. I saw your previous vlog where that part of your garden was overgrown, well done you've done some job clearing. I'm loving watching the progress 😊 I'm in a new house so new, blank garden, so over the years it's been bit by bit. You're lucky to have an older already setup garden and the soil would be better too. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Firstly wow your garden is AMAZING! I'm not green fingered at all and my garden is at the moment in a very sorry state. I have 1/3 patio and the rest grass. Nothing grows the soil is like clay lol. So to see such a lovely garden is very nice. You have done well. Would love further updates you have so much space to work with it will be lovely but as others have said a garden is never finished always something more to do. We literally have the rubbish grass and patio and a play house and a shed lol x 😂
That’s so funny I’ve only really got into it properly this year now my kids are a bit older.. I just realized my local fb marketplace is crazy with people selling perennials from their garden so I’ve been popping out in the evening before bedtime picking some up 🙂 I’m enjoying the learning part too!

You have done some good work in the garden at establishing a few pleasant areas to use as outdoor rooms during good weather. It is good for everyone to get out into the backyard. And it's nice to be able to entertain outdoors with fewer chances for huge mess clean-ups.

Really loved this! (I'm garden crazy so it was right up my street!) You've done a great job with that area you cleared. We're also rethinking our kids' play area now they're that much bigger - my husband is building them some monkey bars.
Love this! I just got into gardening through lockdown and I'm just learning too. It's not easy is it! Your doing a great job and learning other novices at the same time. I have chronic illness and have a low maintenance garden (well I'm aiming for that.) Think I'm going to get a climbing rose as I have a few empty pots. Thank you and take care. Xxx
