You have no idea what I have or have not investigated. If you're interested, you'd be better off asking rather than just assuming what I know or have done. God never told me to stone anyone, any more than he told me to lead people out of Egypt or marry a woman named Gomer. It is clear in Scripture that these and other commands were to specific individuals and groups who are not me. FYI-I'll be gone for a while. If you want to keep talking, it will probably have to wait until July.

Scripture is clear: the punishment for disobedience of God's law is death. As we all have violated God's law, we all deserve to face this penalty. Only an unjust judge could simply overlook a violation of the law. Overlooking a violation of the law isn't mercy--it's injustice. God is not an unjust judge, so this death penalty must be paid. That's what the God-man Jesus did for us. I encourage you to look into Scripture for yourself and see what God might have to say to you through it.

Why do you assume my belief in God is based on blind faith? I think blind faith in God is utterly foolish, and completely contrary to the Scriptures. Of course I know that verse. However, there is nothing about it that would lead me to stone anyone, contrary to the claim of the first poster. I do not live in ancient Israel, so its laws have no bearing on me. Even if I did it would not authorize me to be a vigilante. Capital punishment would be carried out by the legal system, not individuals.
1 You cant prove god exists, nor can you prove he docent. Therefore believing he is real is an act of blind faith. You just assume he exists. It is in the paganism, Mithraism and witchcraft where blood and human sacrifice are being offered. There is nothing in the universe that God disown.
