Based off of her expressions I wonder if even she knew when the barber would stop! I bet she was extremely nervous that she would leave with no hair at all. Every two minutes he found another inch or two to cut for most of the video! While I know there is a consultation process not filmed, the way they just walk in and sit down, it looks like the haircut was entirely barber's choice (or are they? If not, could any in the future be?). I imagine just sitting down at a barbershop and letting him chop away would be an adrenaline-filled adventure for a woman. My definite favorite was at 4:00 with that chin length bob. It suited her face so well. Add in a small undercut (maybe halfway up the nape? Much less than normal) and she would have an amazing haircut. Not that the final result isn't amazing too.
As far as I know, the final look is decided before filming starts. And she looked pretty relaxed to me. Your idea would definitely make for an exciting video, though.

Clearly, he’s not a professional haircutter. He’s either a barber or something like that because if he was a professional, he would’ve hearted her hair in four quadrants and cut her hair properly. He didn’t even put a cape on her for God sake. Has this man lost his mind? Her head is not even straight he butchered her.

Looked good until he shaved the whole nape of her neck. Now looks like a "bowl" haircut. Good thing she is young and pretty, will grow out quickly.
