honestly this is the only time the Everest Sherpas have been shown due recognition. for mountaineers they go once in a year after a lot of training and the best of nutrition and health stats. the sherpas do it several times in a year with baggage and if they die their family loses their often sole bread earner.
and how much Lord Sherpa means to us all here is perfect. he brightens our lives every crappy day.

Yes, me too. But the trouble is, London is huge, with millions of people, the majority of whom commute. So sometimes it's like a needle in a haystack. That said, if I saw sister Sarah, I would definitely say "hello" and perhaps more, if Sarah was amenable to a little chat. I would say "greetings" to Lord Sherpa & Jamie too, etc.
Hopefully I will recognise one of Sherpa's hoomans one day soon. 😊💖

Yes I do believe Shepra is treated like a Lord. In America it's called one spoiled pupper. To have the love of a dog is to know a true love. Nothing on earth will love you more than it loves its self. You are his life. Bless you may you have millions of miles to go together.

Love this video! Such great questions. Not sure why, but was happy to hear you're wanting to keep your home base. It not only gives you and Sherpa a bit more room between travels, it must make it easier to spend more time with sister Sarah. As for limiting your trips to the U.K. that makes this fan very happy. Has always been my number one dream destination. Will probably never make it there, but I get to see it with my two favorite tour guides!! 😊👊💙💙

Yes I agree that Jamie and Lord Sherpa should stay in the UK (or Ireland ?) for the time being. As only a month or so ago, another man from the UK, had trouble with returning to the UK with his cat using a pet passport. This passport was fine crossing numerous European borders, until, I think it was France (?). They said the passport was "no good" etc and in the end he had to shell out another small fortune, to get a new passport so as to return here. It was a lot of worry, hassle and (really) unnecessary expense !
So for Jamie and Lord Sherpa, I don't think it is worth the risk.
Ireland would be lovely, I'm sure Sherpa would love it here but, PLEASE don't come over anytime soon 🙏 the place is on lockdown again for God knows how long and the shambles both gvnmts are making of North and south just to keep the schools open means I wouldn't want you anywhere near here. Stay safe, both of you, and if you do come in the future, I have two forest parks right near me that Sherpa would love and my dogs would be delighted to show you both around 😀

I don't know for sure if dogs can catch Corvid 19 or a version of it ? I I recall reading somewhere that cats can ?? But at the end of the day it's best to keep social distancing measures for everyone's benefit.

@@michelemartin3642 I read an article about an German shepard (I think) in the US that caught it and died but I really don't know how reliable the source was (and I don't remember what it was in now anyway) and I've seen/heard both they can and they can't so I'm not sure. If there is even a chance you can bet I've been keeping my 6 mnth old puppies AWAY from people and even our groceries before we clean the outside (puppies lick EVERYTHING 😀) because I DO NOT want to find out it's true by damaging my puppies or worse losing one or both of them 🤷♀️

One of the best things I've heard said in these times, you don't want to go on Insta or TikTok because you'd be on your phone all the time. It would help you. like you said, but the time to wander and be with Sherpa would be lost. It shows in your relationship with him, that it's not just a way to earn more coin. So cool! Keeping a home base to come back to seems like a good plan. Not that you boys are getting old 😘 or anything, but having somewhere you can get a good nights sleep where you both can stretch out a bit is a help to older joints ( like hips and knees). And, of course, it goes without saying that Lord Sherpa deserves to have more than one castle.🏰 + 🚚= 😁🐾

These memories are beautiful. Sherpa will live on in these videos for all of us who miss him. I’m sure he’s right beside Jamie right now. As Jamie looked out over Sherpa’s garden and wondered if he was still patrolling, the thought immediately came to my mind that he was sitting beside Jamie, looking out at the garden by his side.
Love the Q&A. Also found out that Chicken Balls is a no go word for you. Love your memories of fun and things you and Sherpa did. I have had 8 huskies over the past 50 years, the first one was 8 weeks old from Tok Alaska, so many wonderful memories and great times together, that I can easily see why you and Sherpa have bonded together as best friends. Glad Sherpa is moving around so good.
