Groupe découvert durant un voyage scolaire sur Chicago.... Depuis 20 ans environ dans ma playlist... et que de souvenirs.
This is the first song I heard by Dispatch… it’s very relevant… I had hard times and too many run ins… eventually I found recovery… “I said I’ll tell you when I get back “… excellent band
Same. I’m a big sublime guy and that’s putting it modestly
why dispatch is not more famous around the world, I don't get it
This was my aunt and my favorite song growing up, still love it a decade later!
I 1st heard this song on q101 in chicago and then bought their live compilation album and fell in love with this group
Wow!!! It took 4 years to find this song again!
They are amazing live and sound just like they do on their albums. Can't wait to see them again
I'm going through a rough patch man but this music , the whole band is just talented in the different people that they get involved just kind of stuck in my room a little sad
Idk why but this kinda gives me sublime vibes .
Dennis Pierce cause dispatch and sublime are both amazing
🤙🤙
Same era of music
They formed in 1995
yes
good song!
did anybody else download this off of limewire way back in the day, and it was mislabeled as an oar song? I was just a kid, went so many years looking for this thinking it was by OAR.
When they finally catch up with me... but by then it will not matter.
So epic 💥👆👌🌎🙏✌️❤️🌈🙌
🧠🫀👀
So they took me down to the gallows and this boy he said to mee "why do you smile when the rope's around your neck?" I said "I'll tell you boy when I get back"

to all you people who think this is about immigration: your wrong. its about a Clint Eastwood movie.
actually its about death row. "What's it feel like to know you're gonna die? On the other side of the row"
"You can't run so you may as well hide"
to me it seems to be about the long wait of a death row prisoner knowing that you just rotting in a cell untill you will be put to death
littlerascal1999 I've always interpreted it as a person being wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death.
Thats the thing about great music. It can be about a bunch of things and understood from many angles.
It's about someone being wrongfully sentenced to death with undertones of Christ's crusifiction...."I tell you boy when I get back"....Resurrection
@@justincox7955 I don't think its that, i think its a story of injustice about how a dude was wrongly convicted, and he says "When I get back" because he knows they will find the real guy and sentence him to death too.
