I love what he is saying. As a salesman I'm constantly reminded to know how to handle objections and to make sure people understands the value of the product.
Actually, your browsing data does get collected by the websites you visit and the web browsers you use. They track when you go to websites and sell that data to advertisers so the advertisers can figure out which products are relevant to you so they can increase their sales.
I’ve been watching you for a few weeks now, and left a few comments on other videos of yours. Just for you to know, you are a very strong role model and inspiration for me. Right now is a little hard to look at the whole picture and actually seeing myself achieving my goals and millionaire world class dreams. But if i do, you are one of the reasond i didn’t quit ate the start. I am 22yo brazilian man by the way. THANKS VERY MUCH. Really would enjoy to be able to have a conversation with you
I really love number 5 in terms of the post purchase experience. I also really like what you are talking about in number 1 and finding as many ways to hit them and get them in the funnel as possible.
"The life of an Entrepreneur - The Movie" DEFINITELY !!!! I WANT TO SEE THAT !!! 90 minutes worth of that short spot to inspire and motivate others, I want you to make it !!!
Thanks so much Patrick! I really appreciate all you help with my marketing skills !VERY WISE MAN! I downloaded the PDF! TY TY TY!!! I'll see you on Twitter, my friend! Namaste!
Great video Pat! all about discovery of their needs and overcoming objections through knowing your competitors inside out and referring back to what they told you when providing them the solution to their problem.
Sir, you mentioned in one of your other videos that "Referrals is your best Defence in Business." I was hoping to hear it one more time in here :D !! I promote AWS Cloud Technology and when my clients get AWS Certified then they refer me and my company to their family and friends. You are such a daily-blessing !!
Succinct video Patrick, love this! This is basically the consumer decision-making process that marketers like myself learnt during our university days in the buyer behaviour and psychology of how purchases are made.
We miss the Board Pat we can't store all the informations at the same time we gonna lose some especialy for the non native english speakers who are many, The way you teach with a Board was at some point a USP (Unique Selling Proposition) that made you special and famous. So we need a more visual way of teaching ...Your fan from Algeria Love ya Pat
It's interesting to watch this process with customers at my food truck. They run through the first 4 steps in a couple minutes, I have a small window to help them gather infotmation, narrow there choices and make a sale.and always ask them how was there meal and ALWAYS pay for there next meal it they are not happy.
Thanks I just got a few good ideas. And I like the PDFs because it feels like homework or a challenge. It makes me feel engaged to use it for my business.!!!
Patrick, great video but I am figuring to see how this can be best applied to service providers than product vendors. After sales for products surely makes sense, but as a corporate trainer, I am trying to see how do I apply this philosophy as I provide my workshops/consultations to my customers for my after sales period? Your thoughts/response is always appreciated. Keep up the good work, Pat! Community, you are welcome to respond as well.
This is simple and practical advice. I wish these things were happening more often. I'd be a much happier buyer if the businesses I BOUGHT from did stuff like this!!
When you see a need for a target Audiance and have expertise, that’s the best business you could start. And if you want that kind of service, you can create it!
Hi Pat, please can you make a video on the correlation between business and human psychology and pointers on how to master this within the business sector . I find this to be profound in business.
Hi Patrick! This is Chinmay Shrivastava from India! I have been religiously following you and your channel for quite some time now. I have a question and your insights on it will be highly valued. So this video is about understanding a customer's purchase decision and his or her journey to purchase something. If we implement and create a use case, people visit certain retail stores to purchase certain products. They must have their respective journeys for each purchase at different POPs, but what is the reason for such consumer behavior? Why do customers tend to have a preferential behavior when it gets to purchase certain products from a different retailer. If the context is well set for this question, what can be your advise as to how can we map this behavior, any tools, techniques or approaches you can recommend? Thanks! Chinmay
I run into this at my current retail position now, what about customers who come in with a narrow focus. They want to get everything for free or near free. They get to a point of never being pleased. I understand the normal feedback as it stands. How does one direct in such a way to avoid the problem of what the customer wants. I see it as a bard or conversational direction but i have very little understanding. I believe once i do, i can apply it to making sales, turning the customer around, creating the experience the business model is aiming, and earning the asm title even more. All this is a pathway for me to own my own business, because as Patrick has stated, we gotta eat today.
Anybody has some stats on number 5? As in A b testing following up and not following up post sale. I was reluctant to follow up because when they are called/emailed they can opt in to cancel (and they would not "dare" to initiate the cancel call/mail themselves is they are somewhat happy, they may say "well, product is kind of ok, I won't bother cancelling. And when you already called - it is much easier to answer and say please cancel, not really happy etc). Hope my question and devils advocate example made sense (non English speaker).
I have a destination tourism business and every time i do prospecting ( marketing my next event ) 1 on 1 i failed because of a closing. Most people told me that you're charging more but never see the value I'm giving to them. Can you help me in closing? Or any pitch?
I love the content. I love the editing. I love Pat. I love Valuetainment. Fucking hell, I love that I am alive this day and I have PBD and team in the same Entreprenuerial movement!!
The 5th tip in my opinion is what sets your business apart. I have a clothing brand so I'm trying to find ways to give value to the customer after the purchase. What's working for me right now is sending a thank you card, a small gift like a sticker or button, or sending an email with valuable information. If you have a clothing brand maybe try it out and let me know what you think. "We see our customers as invited guests to a party, and we are the hosts. It's our job every day to make every important aspect of the customer experience a little better." -Jeff Bezos
Great but I felt like the post-sale call script sounded a bit fake (the sales person being "excited" and shit...) I like truth over every other aspect. I know Dale Carnegie says that everybody wants to feel important and all that but, dude, people are not dumb... (Mostly). Anyway, thank you for the PDF and for making us a little wiser, I will analyze the decision making process from now on (both mine and prospects').
Pat you are different from the rest. Great teacher, entrepreneur, and leader! Keep making these vids you are making the world a better place! Grateful to know about valutainment 🙏
Valuetainment I appreciate your response! I just started selling on Amazon through FBA and got my first sale today! I looked into this more and found that Amazon frowns upon sellers sending emails unless it's necessary to complete the order or if the seller is responding to a customer inquiry. Maybe writing thank you on the invoice is a good alternative but not for me since I have FBA. Apparently sometimes there's no way to complete step 5. That may be why it's so challenging!
Hi Patrick, This was a great video. I have a suggestion for a video. Can you create a video on how to overcome 10 of the most common objections. This would be amazing 💖💖💝🌟💗💖💖🙏
They use cookies , like whenever you see a product online but you didnt buy . Then on every app it shows small ads of the products you saw on ecommerce app or website , like if you are looking for a smartphone , then in other apps it automatically shows you ads of smartphones and tempt you more to buy them . I liked 5th point the most in this video . I will use it when i start my business 👌 I am omahuja31 , you know me on Twitter and insta 😉😀
Would it be too informal/unprofessional to text with a follow up? I know I personally would prefer to receive a text for something of that nature but others may prefer a call.

אהרון אברמוב Thanks for the correction I will edit it, *ensure NO post purchase dissonance*

Your right on saying a phone call to the customer goes a long way in building their trust in your company. Thanks again Patrick for a great video.
Wow, I didn't really think of #5.... that is something I'll be adding to my business. Thanks for bringing back the videos PAT!

Hey Patrick, this is great... tnx...
Patrick, how do you complete step 5 if you don't directly interact with customers? For example, if you sell through Amazon.
Email follow up
Valuetainment I appreciate your response! I just started selling on Amazon through FBA and got my first sale today! I looked into this more and found that Amazon frowns upon sellers sending emails unless it's necessary to complete the order or if the seller is responding to a customer inquiry.
