There is no price break for just wanting to purchase the book. But you don't need to participate in the class in order to enjoy all the content of the book and accompanying course videos.
I just saw your interview with Karen at Just Get it Done Quilts. I am fascinated with the concept but am recovering from rotary cuff surgery so can't try the class yet. In the meantime I am very interested in how you self published your book. You said you had a friend in the self publishing industry, can you share her name? Do you have suggestions on how to learn this? Does she do you tube tutorials?
Will this be like an annual event or twice a year class. Just finishing up a zoom class and have no money right now, 6 months ... Love, love your style of quilting...just have to get hand smacking out of my mind for doodling in class.
I don't anticipate teaching this class live again after this 10 year anniversary class... It will become available on-demand but will not be as cheap as it is now. So the sooner you can register, the better, because the price is only going to go up over the next year.
You get your copy of the book whilst registering for the online master class. They are the same product. When you purchase the book you get all access to the classes.
It is Both a book and a class. It is an experience where both the class and book connect together and inform each other to truly round out the technique... both with written text as well as visual and audio companions to make sure that my students have ever opportunity to integrate the skills they learn into their quilting repertoire.

Can I do GQ using my home sewing machine which can drop the feed dogs? I don’t plan to buy a sit down long arm
