    Philodendron growing tips. The best way to grow philodendron scandens brasil cuttings is growing them with moss pole. Why? Because your plant will grow bigger and bigger leaves that will be bigger than your palm.
    How to grow bigger philodendron leaves? Philodendron brasil cuttings will grow bigger leaves if they grow towards the sun, climbing on a support, which can be a moss pole or a moss stick.
    You can of course grow philodendron in baskets as a hanging plant. In this case, the leaves will grow smaller.
    How to grow philodendron brasil with moss pole? Plant the cuttings closer to the moss pole and help them grow aerial roots, bringing the philodendron cuttings closer to the moss pole with a twine.
    As for the Philodendron brasil soil mix, I show you which mix I use and what I add to the soil in the video.

    Hi, my new leaf is very tiny compared to the rest. Will it eventually get larger? It is not fully opened yet, but all the other leaves were already full sized when I bought the plant. I think it gets enough light, but the humidity is pretty low so I'm scared it will stay like this.

    Hello- can I add a moss pole even if I hang the philodendron?

    • @AnnasViolets
      @AnnasViolets  2 года назад +1

      Hi, you can of course. But it depends if you want your philodendron to climb on it, or if you want to grow it as a hanging plant. If you put a moss pole, the plant will not grow on it by itself. You will rather need to train the stems to grow on it. So, if you want to grow it as a hanging plant, there is no need in moss pole.
      Or you can have a moss pole, your plant will be climbing on it, but you can still hang the whole pot. That's also an option

    I am always confused at these "videos" when the proper terms are not used. You have acknowledged in other replies that it really is not a moss pole....yet you call it one anyway.
