See how to replace the tie rod ends on your Yamaha YXZ1000R in this video from Partzilla.com.
This is an easy job, and replacing worn tie rod ends on your YXZ1000R is critical. When they fail, it can cause immediate steering failure. And on this unit? They were shot.
We’ll start off with the wheel already removed, and John will show you how to remove the old tie rod end while taking care to make sure that the alignment will be maintained when you install the new tie rod end on your YXZ1000.
Once the tie rod end is removed, we’ll get the new one in place and introduce you to a nifty little tool that can help you use your torque wrench in new ways.
