    I know that road and take my B8 S4 there often! Fun valley road but what you can’t see on camera is the poor quality of pavement. Considering this, the blind hairpin turns, hidden driveways, and let’s not forget frequent deer/elk…this is not a “fast” road as some might think or hope. I appreciate your safe and responsible, yet fun driving style.

      Yep thanks. That’s why I wasn’t going extremely fast there is tons of houses there and deer and road has lose gravel. I used to have a b8 s4 as well. I love those cars great cars.

    Is it normal for these cars to shift harshly on hard acceleration? It almost like there is a vibration right before it fully engages the next gear.

    • @northwestfishingadventures6004
      @northwestfishingadventures6004  2 года назад +12

      My car shifts decently so not sure. But I did have a s4 before and the S series do shift faster. You can get a transmission tune to make your gears shift more smooth and faster.

    • @austinmerrival927
      @austinmerrival927 2 года назад +3

      @@tehgzizlauw1787I ran stage 2 for 50k,l with the cats, right up until I went dual pulley at 205k. They still looked fine. If your tuner knows what they're doing there's no need to touch them until you have warning signs. They sound like shit with straight test pipes, my chambered setup came out okay, id like less drone and more bark.

      @@NikolaWG I’ve had to do so much maintenance. I got the car at 96k miles so I had to do timing chain and water pump and several other services, overall put around $12,000 in service taking care of essentially everything. Super fun car on just stage two duel pulley really want to go e85 soon and really get down currently around 500 whp and that supercharger whine is so addicting and I love seeing the looks on v8 owners faces when they hear the blower and get gapped. I’d recommend either going low mileage and get one that’s already been maintained and had the Main services taken care of
