this dude. My dearest friend turned me on to this guy with gravedigger, which I thought was 10 times better than any pop star these days. The next time we hung out, she played this one. I'm like fuck me this kid is a good song writer. To give you some background, I am the worst fucking music critic in the world, because I'm 54 years old and have been living music since fifth grade. Started in 7th grade playing drums in school, 8th grade took 2 piano lessons and realized I was doing more picking out Chicago and Billy Joel songs from memory on moms piano. I wrote my first song at 15, and if I don't play consistently, I can barely play it, its that hard. In 9th I got my first guitar. Since then, I have pretty much mastered guitar - at least the mechanics of it. My Brother Brett Kamerud is the single most ridiculous guitar player i have ever heard. Of course I am biased but hes got some vids on here if you want to see. Anyway, I have written more than 250 songs of all genre's even a couple of raps because some of the brothers in federal prison (too long of a tale to tell here) said I couldn't do it. Wrote and recorded a song called Tipster about snitches. ha. I have literally wrote some of the best love songs no one has ever heard, along with "Huddled" about meth addiction, Probed, a satire rap about getting abducted by aliens and getting probed, When I'm gone, about how things that are not that important take our attention away from our kids, Holding out my hand, about finding that life changing love, Fallen, about Lucifer, Anything about some kid who falls in love with the girl at the drive inn in roller skates, Homestead, about a high school kid in the country who is in love with the farmers daughter. I could write a song about how a garbage can feels. SO if you are still with me here, my point is, if i am listening to the lyrics of a song and you see me laugh or am like fuck yeah, it is the highest praise there is, because most of the music I have heard that is commercial is nonsensical bullshit that anyone with a tiny spark of creativity could do something better than half the Grammy winners in an afternoon. This guy freaking gets it. He has everything he needs to get it. Frankly I am surprised that he is not completely blown up above the majority of the artists that are making 10 times as much. I hope he just keeps doing what he is doing cuz he is destined for greatness.

this dude. My dearest friend turned me on to this guy with gravedigger, which I thought was 10 times better than any pop star these days. The next time we hung out, she played this one. I'm like fuck me this kid is a good song writer. To give you some background, I am the worst fucking music critic in the world, because I'm 54 years old and have been living music since fifth grade. Started in 7th grade playing drums in school, 8th grade took 2 piano lessons and realized I was doing more picking out Chicago and Billy Joel songs from memory on moms piano. I wrote my first song at 15, and if I don't play consistently, I can barely play it, its that hard. In 9th I got my first guitar. Since then, I have pretty much mastered guitar - at least the mechanics of it. My Brother Brett Kamerud is the single most ridiculous guitar player i have ever heard. Of course I am biased but hes got some vids on here if you want to see. Anyway, I have written more than 250 songs of all genre's even a couple of raps because some of the brothers in federal prison (too long of a tale to tell here) said I couldn't do it. Wrote and recorded a song called Tipster about snitches. ha. I have literally wrote some of the best love songs no one has ever heard, along with "Huddled" about meth addiction, Probed, a satire rap about getting abducted by aliens and getting probed, When I'm gone, about how things that are not that important take our attention away from our kids, Holding out my hand, about finding that life changing love, Fallen, about Lucifer, Anything about some kid who falls in love with the girl at the drive inn in roller skates, Homestead, about a high school kid in the country who is in love with the farmers daughter. I could write a song about how a garbage can feels. SO if you are still with me here, my point is, if i am listening to the lyrics of a song and you see me laugh or am like fuck yeah, it is the highest praise there is, because most of the music I have heard that is commercial is nonsensical bullshit that anyone with a tiny spark of creativity could do something better than half the Grammy winners in an afternoon. This guy freaking gets it. He has everything he needs to get it. Frankly I am surprised that he is not completely blown up above the majority of the artists that are making 10 times as much. I hope he just keeps doing what he is doing cuz he is destined for greatness.
