- Moncton is a city in New Brunswick and lies approximately centered in the Maritimes. The city is along the north bank of the Petitcodiac River, which has one of North America's few tidal bores: a regularly occurring wave that travels up the river on the leading edge of the incoming tide. The bore is a result of the Bay of Fundy's extreme tides, occurring twice a day at high tide.
Codiac Transpo is the municipal transit authority in Greater Moncton, operating routes throughout Moncton as well as neighbouring Dieppe and Riverview.
Maritime Bus provides intercity service to the region. Moncton is the largest hub in the system. All other major centres in New Brunswick, as well as Charlottetown, Halifax, and Truro, are served out of the Moncton terminal.
Buses seen include:
Codiac Transpo:
504, 803, 817, 821, & 823 on Route 51
720 & 802 on Route 53
814 on Route 60
602 on Route 64
