- Our first full day in El Nido, Palawan and we couldn't be more excited! If you've watched our previous island series, you'll know by now that we strongly advise those who can, to rent a scooter - it's the best way to explore any island! For our first day, we visit Corong Corong beach situated right beside town proper and beautiful Nacpan beach - about a 30-40 minute drive from town.

✈️ Manila to El Nido Requirements:
→ Visit s-pass.ph/ and log or sign up
→ Register as "LOCAL TOURIST" and your place of destination must be "EL NIDO, PALAWAN, BACUIT"
→ Upload the following:
Valid ID
Booking confirmation (must be DOT accredited)
Round trip tickets
Vaccination card (Antigen tests are no longer required if you are fully vaccinated as of March 1!)

My wife and I had our honeymoon at El Nido, back then we had to go through a forest to get to Corong-Corong Beach and the beach is totally deserted (no houses / resorts). I hope you guys get to enjoy the different island hopping tours.
BTW, I just have to say this. Ann is so beautiful!

Hey Jan, planning on renting a scooter in El Nido as well, knowing that we are both from Alberta. Are you allowed to ride a scooter/motorcycle with just your class 5 license?

If you guys are still in Palawan, best to go to Balabac Island at the South end of Palawan. Explore Onok Island, Pink Island and all other Islands. That is the definition of PARADISE!!!
We wont be able to this trip but we’ll forsure bisit balabac in the near future ☺️

*_Corong Corong Beach, also known as Las Cabañas Beach, actually has very clear water during summer. Been to El Nido in 2016, was supposed to go back on March 2020 but then the lockdown happened and the world shut down._*

Well this is the 4th one I watched today lol. That’s a great island, things are still messed up though. I live in Bali for the last year, and travel the islands here. We have 18,000 islands, and there awsome. But so is the Philipines. Well done guys. Mark H. (Las Vegas , Bali)

Go to Vanilla beach, its near the town about 10 mins ride from the town. Ask the locals to give you the direction.

Hello, ive been watching your vlogs for hours now. We're planning to go in 2 weeks, booked a hotel at nacpan. If we do the boat tours, do we have to go to the city proper or there's a dock in nacpan for their pick up and drop off?
Hi most likely yes! All of our tours we had to go back to el nido town but you can always ask the agency you book with ☺️

Hi, how much is the rental for the scooter? Also, do they ask surrendering your license or an ID upon rental?
Hello, scooter rental is 500 per day which is good for 24hours. They can give discounts for long term rents and yes you do need to deposit any government issued valid id. ☺️

Thank you! And yes you can basically park wherever tbh and almost all places will have a designated parking area for scooters :)
