    Can the 5000 series be rinsed in the part of the motor where it has the mechanism that rotates?

    Hello Phillips, is it better to clean out with water after every trim; or is it better to dry clean with the provided brush and wash only once in a while? Many thanks.

      Hi there. Thank you for reaching out to us. In response to your question. We'd like to let you know that cleaning your Philips Groomer after each use is critical to maintaining its optimal performance. Water can be found on the back of the handle or in the user manual for washable groomers. Water can be used to clean washable groomers. Non-washable groomers have a cross-out tap symbol printed on the back of the handle or in the user manual. These appliances cannot be washed with water. If you have any additional questions, please get in touch via Social Media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). Don't worry, if you don't use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: to.philips/6055uCFNf.

      Hello there. Thank you for your question. We understand your query. We recommend oiling your groomer regularly. You can apply a few drops of oil to the teeth of the cutting element of your groomer. You can use the oil provided in the packaging or any other sewing machine oil. For more detailed instructions of your model, refer to the user manual. Hope this helps. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us via social media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and Twitter (@PhilipsCare). You can also reach out to us via the contact page at to.philips/6057PS3mN.

    How to fit the head back. While cleaning it came off

    • @Philips
      @Philips  Месяц назад

      Thank you for reaching out to us, Janak. To fit the cutting head back onto your Philips Trimmer, start by checking if there's a release button on the body of the groomer. If so, press it to detach the unit. If there isn't a release button, just place a finger under the teeth of the cutting unit and pull it upwards. When reattaching, align it properly and insert the bottom part into the groomer body, then gently push the teeth part forward until you hear a click. Be careful not to force it, as this could damage your device. If you're having trouble, make sure nothing is stuck inside by cleaning it with a small brush or cotton swab. If you have any additional questions, please get in touch via Social Media. We're available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: to.philips/60555SXP3.

      You can find the instruction how to attach it back in the user manual

    • @greg6162
      @greg6162 8 месяцев назад

      Yeah it’s pretty easy to attach the blade back on. You probably got the all in one trimmer. I just got the 9000 today and haven’t used it yet but I put all the different attachments on. I’ve owned Wahl, Remington and now Phillips Norelco and they all go on the same way. Start at the bottom pushing it in the razor and push the top to lock it in like a rocking motion. I’m sure you probably figured it out by now though

      I think once a week or if you see the reminder for oil light up

    • @SSJPeter
      @SSJPeter 8 месяцев назад

      @@Philips I also bought one of these, and have the same question. Why can’t you be more specific with your answer? Like once a week, twice a month or when the indicator lights up, or something like that? That would be helpful, your generic answer lacks any information.
