Well to be honest eol daytime is way harder than dog death mode, I mean they both one-shot but dog is way easier to dodge and predict, eol daytime is relentless with her attacks, I remember I did at least 100 tries to get the terraprisma. Dog death mode on the other hand took me about 10 tries.

except most bosses on DoG stage are filler lmao. could cite old duke, poltherghast and dragonfolly. those are not required to progress at all. that's more like ML->providence/guardians->sentinels->DoG. not to mention the huge difficulty spike after wall of flesh. mostly everything before it becomes unusable. so it's more like fighting duke fishron with a titanium shotbow. still pretty hard, mind you.
