I really can't wait for the Director's Cut next year. I hate it when studios get involved to get vieiwng numbers up by castrating the movie in the editing room. Snyder said 'his version' is a completely different movie.

@@SWPhoenixSquadron I did see the clip, lol, I just happened to comment before the video ended! After seeing it last night, I think the movie has a lot of potential for an extended universe with follow up series and film installments. At the risk of bringing up another deeply flawed, but thoroughly entertaining movie franchise, The Riddick series and Rebel Moon could easily crossover without stepping on each other's feet. The lore could blend really well if done properly, imo.
I've always liked ZS cinematography. As a former photographer, I find it quite aesthetically pleasing. With that said, I don't think this movie is quite as bad as reviews give it. Is it good? Well, that's subjective but as a popcorn flick I think it's fine. As a new IP that you want to understand who's who and what the lore of the world? Then no. But given the 2 hour run time, I would find it difficult to do much better with as many characters, worlds, backstories and plots they introduce.
I enjoyed it for what it is despite the girl boss, girl power protagonist but they didn't insert actual woke ideology into the film which I can at least respect. With a world with spiderwomen and squid kings, I think I can overlook a 5'6 120lb woman taking out hordes of men twice her weight.
Yep I talk about this exact thing in my review. They didn’t make her a Mary sue, but I did find myself rolling my eyes a few times. Overall, I enjoyed it, despite some real flaws.
I went in expecting garbage based off my trusted reviewers, ended being thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. Can’t wait for the real cut and sequel. Don’t listen to haters, this is better than a lot of the crap we’ve been fed lately. Not perfect but still good

So Star Wars meets The Magnificent 7, complete with stereotypes & shallow mysticism. Why do SF shows like this always look so primitive.
This just sounds like the prequel to Dune doesn’t sound like an original story just copies of something else, and let’s just throw shit loads of special effects see if that makes it a good movie. The director might have a reputation, but he also has a reputation for walking away when he’s upset, so let’s hope he doesn’t get upset or hope the shits are flop.

So it's Star Wars with an unridable flying creature like in Avatar and maybe a pinch f GOT with the regime change 4 years before the start of the film.
I expected better Zack. Man of Steel was really good. BvS was a mess with a dumpster fire of a plot and nonsensical motivations, but at least someone FINALLY got a Batman fight scene right! After 27 years of movies they finally got it!
SnyderCut JL was Awesome! Soundtrack - especially the Darkseid theme - was amazing. Fisher's performance was Oscar caliber. My hope was that Black Adam would put things back on track and the sequel would start with BA fighting Superman and the JL but they end up teaming up when Darkseid shows up in the Armada. Sadly, those hopes were quickly dashed thanks to James Gunn whose new universe will be a hodge podge of K-tel records and d!ck jokes and will fail miserably.
Got to admit as an older adult who was a kid when Star Wars came out am shocked to see grown men continue to over analyze a movie made to entertain younger audiences. This isn't The Ten Commandments.

Keep falling asleep during rebel moon. Very boring, and suuuuuper thin characters, basically no plot other than go to planet, find guy, then repeat.
I hear it’s hard for people with certain disabilities to stay focused. Try Tom and Jerry, no dialogue to break your brain and plenty of action you can understand
