S:P in Japan can be *very* cheap compared to the TCG due to multiple rarities. TCG is absolutely predatory hence why I tell people to stop buying overpriced cards. That's what komoney wants you to do and if you keep buying they keep ripping people off.

I've always had an affinity with Dragon Rulers, even going to such lengths as making it up IRL as a completely banned version (pot of greeds, more monster reborns, maxx c, etc) just as a challenge whenever i'm playing at home with friends. But now since the other 3 have gone to 1, I've been working on a legal variant with the solid prediction that Tidal is coming back. If they really want Dragon Rulers to make an impact, then the big guys all need to come back to 2. But I don't think that's gonna happen considering their serious attribute support in other decks rather than themselves. A solid Errata would be to have the effects name "Dragon Ruler" specifically, see how that works and then the next banlist bring them back full power. :)
@@fortidogi8620 the two effect now happen at the same time, both monster that got summoned got negated, and you will get type locked for the rest of the turn to whatever type the monster you summon to opponent field is.
@@fortidogi8620 it locks you to the type you summoned from the deck and she only have one effect now (they basically merged her effects so when you link summon her, you have to summon from your hand to your opponent then you will be able to summon a monster from your deck with the same type as that monster you summoned from your hand to your opponent)

After seeing what tear went through last year, I doubt that they will be as tame as the OCG. They probably won't kill the deck outright, but I could see some big hits.
Change of Heart to 3 is an indictment of how far gone Yugioh is in terms of power creep. Konami had a chance to reset the game from scratch with Rush Duel and they blew it. Now the devs' only recourse is to fight power with power.

I mean, it can be rewound (on mobile at least; I know it's a bit finicky on PC and god forbid you're on like a TV), but I think the point was more just showing that tweets like that _exist_ and provide context that someone people are annoyed rather than reading through everything said in the tweets.

Sometimes I think Konami just be in the lab every day plugging in all possible interactions between their 10K+ cards and every so often they just go "holy shii opening Quickdraw Synchron and any Heavymetalfoe with three of these in the extra deck would grind out 5 negates through 4 hand traps. We gotta ban Change of Heart."
OCG player here, kinda frustrated that ash(snake-eyes) only got semi'd and wanted into limit, that seems just changed things slightly in fire format, although maybe because the rise of tenpai makes Snake Eyes and Fire King less intimidating

These card being limited to 2 while almost no players are running more than 2 copies I think is konami's way of lowering their prices making it more accessible for budget players something TCG would never do
erratas in ygo are so bad tbh, if u want to change the effect of something that isn't part of an archetype/isn't searched by name, just do a different card that resembles the original bruh, people will still know "oh this card is like X but not broken"

I stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Last August because I made decks and they got banned only a week later every single time I'm so fed up with this shit that I stopped playing. It's not even my fault these csrds got banned it's because of other degenerate people using them.
