Nailed it on the ninja running, folks. Superb.
Great to see Snake Eyes & Jinx get their own story, Awesome use of urban locations and those night shots. Another excellent video!
Wow ! As with the rest of your awesome productions, better than ANY official G I Joe movie that has or ever will be done!
That's because they know and love the subject matter. Something most board room execs don't.
I have totally been wondering when we would get the episode with the snake eyes still from Steve's top 10 joes. All kidding aside the story was very engaging, top marks to Paul for his 80"s synth sound track. Again thank you for a saturday treat, really great after a hard slog.
You all always manage to outdo yourselves with scripts, sounds and cinematography. Well done!
The Lighting and cinematography was EPIC great job again man!!!
You guys just keep outdoing yourselves the voice acting is awesome and the locations are amazing.
Thanks so much for your unwavering support Ryan. And since it’s already breakfast time on the 8th here: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Excellent use of McCauley Culkin.
😂
I approve of this comment. I had some fun making up some props and did it for yuks. I'm so glad you picked up on it. -P
Epic I can't wait until the next episode 👍👍👍
Pulled it out of bag again Joburg loved it 😁😁😁😁😁😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Amazing work on this one! I like the choice of music used and departing a bit from the cartoon soundtrack made this feel more like an off-spin adventure. Excellent.
Consistently getting better and better. Amazing work. This is the show we deserve.
Just watched this one again and I don't understand why Hasbro cant find the right formula to make a good G.I Joe movie. The shots in this are amazing. This is My Snake Eyes!! Thank You!!
Thank you Jake. That is so wonderful to hear. Glad we did him some justice.
Beautiful job again! Thanks for this! Great dialogue between Jinx and SE...well , at least from Jinx..lol.
No words right now. Super great takes.
Amazing video of my favorite ninja and oh Snake Eyes too. Those running scenes were truly great but there was a wailing tone at some points that didn't sound right. Great storytelling and special effect use!
Glad you liked it Mal! I’m curious, was the wailing tone you refer to in the opening track?
@@gijoburg Yes it starts at 0:18
Yes! I know it well. A bit of dissonance on the track but all intentional I assure you. I started off wondering if my music guy had lost his mind; now I love it.
Cada vez mejor, un gran abrazo, Yo Joeee!!!!
Gracias. ¡Seguimos probando nuevos enfoques y agradecemos las respuestas!
Wow, your cinematography has really improved and keeps getting better. Keep it up. I watch these with my son.
Wonderful. I’m very happy to hear that you and your boy watch our little fan films! Thank you!
Jinx has phenomenal cardio. I wonder if the opening inspired by the zillion RUclips vids of Tom Cruise running.
Perhaps… but I must say with an electro soundtrack I’m instantly transported to every Nintendo platformer with a ninja protagonist!
Great episode, very cool locale. I understand the choice with v2, but I am hoping for a quick upgrade to v3. S&M, butterfly knives and Jitsu of Power
1989 is just around the corner... looking forward to that version of Rock & Roll and Stalker too!
Guys! That was awesome!!!
Ahhmazing, thank you for this great work!
Way to go guys! This is the best yet.
You guys are getting much better. Wow.
I bought my vintage figures of Jinx and Lieutenant Falcon from Kokomo Toys along with Scoop, A Crimson Guard, A Cobra Infantry Soldier, the Cobra Night Stinger, Asp, and the Sky Striker jet with Ace and I gave Amber your regards there at Kokomo Toys! I keep Jinx and Lieutenant Falcon on both sides of my Awe Striker with General Hawk from 1986 riding shotgun and Crank Case driving of course!
Round 1. FIGHT!!!
Absolutely amazing as always!! Can't wait for the next part!!
Thanks so much Sergio! We can hardly wait for the next part ourselves! But to tide us all over we’ll be releasing a guest adventure this Saturday called “Clairvoyance”. Hope you can make it to the Premier!
@@gijoburg I'll be there!!!
I really like the music great work.
The locations, back drops and scenery are outstanding. The motion of each character is captivating. I felt puffed out in the first 3 minutes. Also, great cameo from Macaulay Culkin??
Haha! You caught it! Can you recognize the other two “targets”?
How did he end up a target!? :(
Hehe, did I say “target”? I meant “objective”! I guess he’s the scourge of stealth infiltration specialists everywhere and Snake Eyes is no exception!
@@gijoburg Is it because of the paint cans?
Among other things!
This was really good 🔥🔥🔥💯
Oh, this was brilliant! Great job, you guys! :D
This was awesome! I really liked the music.
Thank you! Yep, making this one was easy thanks to Paul’s banging tunes. Quite the beatsmith he is.
All I have to say ! YO JOE!💥😯👏🏿👏🏿😎👍🏿
Outstanding! I didn't think get any videos while you were in China and here we get this beauty! I hope you didn't get in trouble for lurking around the streets with a camera :)
In China?! This place is selfie OBSESSED. So my cam wasn’t out of place. But I did get chased off a rooftop by security for one or two shots!
Awsome job guys once again
I love Jinx such a cool character/figure.
I agree! And confession time: until she was given to me as a gift right before shooting this series, I had not seen her potential. But she comes with so much mystery to be explored.
Excellent video
Amazing job guys!! The actual city shots were great. Great story telling and atmosphere. Love the music as well. Is this a chapter 1 to a new series or a one shot? Keep’em coming.
Hey Brandon! Thank you for the kind words! This will be the start of an ongoing series. Who knows where it will go?! 🤪
Great video! Loved the music too;)
Great job 👍👏👏👏
loved the video , you made sure nothing ever looked out of scale
Thanks! It makes location hunting very focused. China is a lot bigger when your 1/18!
Great starting episode.
Thanks again for the Superchat my brother. And to answer your question about
Jinx’ romantic ties... I’m of the opinion that not every woman in Joe canon needs to hitch her wagon to one of her teammates. It was a very comic-tropey way of including romance in the book and toon. I think we’re more likely to pick our battles when it comes to the lovey dovey stuff. Mainframe and Zarana gets a pass from me because it makes for an interesting device. Destro and Baroness is a maybe. And as for Flint/Jaye; Scarlett/Snake Eyes; Jinx/Falcon... lets say only if it presents really interesting story options.
@@gijoburg Falcon and Jinx? When did that happen?
@seymour clarity GI Joe: The Movie. Straight to VHS release in 1987 where Falcon is voiced by Don Johnson. Infamous for terrific animation and... Cobra La.
@@gijoburg I'm not saying every female or male lead needs a significant other. In fact, some work better alone. I'm just saying they were a pairing in some lines of canon.
Superb! Really had that 80's ninja vibe to it. Jinx running along the roof tops, leaping and tumbling about. That face off with Snakes Eyes, then the Cobras, I wonder, was Stormshadow lurking in the shadows during all this. And the backgrounds, what city is that in China? Absolutely a wonderful production, and voice acting! Hope Hollywood is paying attention.. YO! JOE-BURG!
Thanks Gazz! I will pass on your praise to the team! This ep was shot on location in Changsha and Chongqing.
@@gijoburgThat place looks amazing, thanks!
Awesome video
Great video
The bait & switch to set up the cliff hanger was so deft that I have to admit I almost missed it. Shame on me for underestimating your game.
So. Damn. Good. 👍
AWESOMENESS 👍👍
Do you think you'll go to that Chinese City where they put gardens on top of skyscrapers? I heard they were forced to take them down, but who knows if the government missed a few?
Not sure I’m familiar with that, but it sounds like a pretty amazing idea.
@@gijoburg Didn't know which vid to show you, so here's the search results. ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=Chinese+garden+skyscraper
How did you get documents, maps, and paperwork 1:18 scale and where? Can u help?
Hey there thanks for the kind words. I totally made those props for the series. I can make a plan to get em to you if you'd like?
What did David Bowie do to Snake Eyes to get his mugshot on the crazy wall?
Possible ties to Cobra’s mind control operation... for more info see COLD SLITHER!
@@gijoburg Fair enough. I thought it might have to do with his role in the Guild of Calamitous Intent.
@@vanzetti1927 I was wondering about Macaulay Culkin. D:
That was amazing
Your videos are great. I might have asked you this before, but do you ever get worried about losing your weapons while filming?
Constantly! Everything is bagged and every time I take the accessories out and put them back in I’m doing a quick mental inventory. To date I think I’ve only lost two guns! And to think I went to sea with an original Moray lens still in the spotlight… I think I would probably refrain from doing that again!
And thanks for the great comment Joseph!
I could gush all night about how awesome these videos are. There are few youtube channels let alone Hollywood productions that are this consistently great.
Also, I hope this doesn't drive the price of Jynx figures up too high. Might need to buy one now. :{J
Get on it! She’s a very unique little figure that. Top notch accessories too.
@@gijoburg yeah I think I need to go ahead and get her now just in case. :{J
@@gijoburg lol Jinx secured. 😎👍👍. :{J
This was better than GIJoe Retaliation!
👍😎
Great! This is the sort of filmmaking that makes me want to spend two weeks pay in Thule, Greenland.
🐬
AWESOME!
Good infiltration plan; but where will they go?
The Cobra Consulate building, ala the 2nd Joe Yearbook story when Snake Eyes got captured?
Very Sunbow cartoon infiltration plan! The more important question I’d say is: will it work?!
GI Joburg
Only time will tell...is the follow up just in the brainstorming stage, pre, or post production?
Currently in rewrites...
And they are most definitely in Red China; maybe Cobra has a few shell companies set up with extravagant corporate headquarters. Snake Eyes definitely had a lot of work to do in the region.
GI Joburg
Can’t wait for the next chapter; come for the story, stay for the visuals!
Quality!
Guys better than the movie's
One of the better Joe’s.
Me and my friends never really bought the same guys… I had to dread knocks
Mark had the cobras, and Sean had the good guys.
But we all had to have GINX and sneakers, and could never find fire fly or major blood
I mean, we all had tons of G.I. Joe figures, but we still only stuck to one of the three teams.
When my friend Travis would come over and play-we had a giant bedroom it wasn’t being used, so I took all my G.I. Joe bases, knock off G.I. Joe bases, homemade bases with scrap plastic cardboard paper Mâché… I put old crappy guns that’s fine at garage sales or borrow some from wherever, and make bases with backgrounds from G.I. Joe

add a giant refrigerator box that I painted blue and wrapped in saran wrap and use that as a river in the middle of a giant bedroom to put our boats on in the closet was a runway we put Christmas lights at going through Castle Grey skull and gobotron, etc To look somewhat like a city… I had to G.I. Joe bases that I used on the left and right of gobot command center.
never had a base for the cobras though… The drug knocks fit in nicely into a homemade cardboard box base with little windows cut out scraps of Barbwire run across the top of the boxes with cut out pictures of guns over cardboard for battle placements, an old Barbie chair seat filing outside or the little tables in the middle of a pizza box… We put little pictures of beer up on the wall and stuff.
anyWho, sorry I went down memory lane, I’m sure somebody right now might find that fun or funny… But yeah, jinx was a must for all of us.
This is INCREDIBLE. You took set up to the next level it seems. Can’t say I pulled off half those things. I guess we were just itching to play; my set up was usually a few key bits of buildings made of polystyrene and construction like stairs fashioned from cardboard. And of course placement of enemy forces. And then Rob, Alastair and I would set off on our mission! Thanks for this comment; I loved every word of nostalgic goodness!
Go Jinx!!!!!
Badass Gem!
