Very good! A list of cool tutorials to do would be: Optimizing scene (for blazing fast IPR feedback) explaining how samples should be spent (unified sampling, GI sampling, specular sampling, etc) Types of GI (brute force, irradiance cache and photon map) creating AOV (and custom AOV for objects, materials, lights, etc.) displacement, bump and normal map deep explained thanks :^)
You should check out Saul Espinosas tutorials: ruclips.net/video/25YZ--F1aAQ/видео.html And yes they're on Maya but I don't think it matters when the main subject is Redshift.
3:15 - Absolutely brilliant and simple way to set up a light that pivots around world origin. Merk Vilson keeps pushing things forward! EDIT: The file download isn't working for me. Is there an updated link anywhere?
that background music was magnetic... i mean hypnotic.. i mean hypnetic... i don't know... it was nice. also, what system specs was this tutorial running on? Thanks.
Very nice tutorial! I have a question though about how to clean up the noise when using the beads as a light source (6:36). I did as you said, isolating every light and increasing the samples until it looked clean, but when it came to the beads I increased the sample to 8192 and still wasn't completely clean and anything beyond that didn't change anything. Using more than 1024 samples seems very unproductive, not to mention 8192. Do you have any solution for this kind of situation? Thanks.
Do someone know if (and how) i can *blur the dome light* ? I don't want that fE a window from my domelight-hdri is visible so clearly. Roughness channel of the object material could be an option … but is tidious if you have a lot of objects. Someone knows something?
Nice explainer. Curious as to which version of Redshift are you using in this? There are a lot of UI differences than version 2.5.37, which is what I am on at the moment.
Material Blending please do. Work with blending + alpha for blend. I work with labels for bottles and cans, I do not understand how mixing of materials works and work with transparency in Redshift. How to make a label on a bottle with transparency. Sadness
(Help Redshift After Effect Object ID) I am having problems with simply trying to " buffed " out an object in C4D, like how the normal object buffer should work. I used AOV and assigned an object ID to the item I wanted to buffed out. When I bring it in to After Effects, it does not work like how a regular track matte should work
This music makes me feel like a single cell organism multiplying in a petri dish while groovin’
This is gold!! the music was not necessary but at least is not distracting.
great starting point especially the part about shadow softness of point and infinite lights
redshift is a beast!!!! I cant even look back to anything else
isnt octane better?
@@ThePixelitomedia in some stuff yes both are good, i prefer redshift for the speed and its less buggy especially on large scenes
Amazing tutorial. One of the best I have ever watched. Easy to follow. Nice pacing. Very informative. Bravo!
I agree... it's brilliant.
This is a brilliant tutorial.
That was excellent ! That's the tutos i need. Thanks for sharing guys !
Oh man, when you added the lighting on the beads... very cool.
Great tutorial! very informative and also fun to watch.
I like the moue movements. so smooth.
music is also great.
Solid and straight to the point! Awesome tute. Thanks!
Informative and good tempo... please keep doing these. 👍🏻
long awaited......
Very nice 3point lighting tip

This was super helpful! Thank you
Good vid! we definately need more videos for redshift C4D...
well done explicated, thanks

Try right clicking (on a PC) the link and save file as.
informative and relaxing
Great tutorial... love the way you show how everything works, by rotating, moving, adjusting.... But the music thats just annoying in a tutorial.
Thanx for tricks
nice work

indeed
link doesn't work
Aside from the renderer, this is virtually the same example scene that comes with cinema!
Please fix the Tutorial files download URL, it's not complete. Thanks!
Redshift for Modo please!!

finally a tutorial for c4d :D Could we have a deep tutorial for shading ( not with uber material ) in RS ?

i need to know what merk's voice sounds like
as i remember he has a video with his voice on facebook
I don't have the redshift menu
Классно. А как сделать такой материал под зелёную керамику?

No portal light info
Cool video but uncomfortable background music. It's annoying
Good tut, but if I want music I’d rather listen to mine! Please don’t use music, it’s polluting understanding
i nearly falled asleep bcz of the meditation background music -_- which made nervous instead!
That music is SO bad and distracted me!
This music is so annoying ...
