dang. blading has evolved so much in the six or so years that i've been off of skates. For a while i feel like we got stuck on just handrails and baggy pants. now i'm seeing alot of technical stuff that's like something made up in the neighborhood with limited obstacles. it reminds me of why i started and its sick.

I'm 19 and I'm just getting into it! Get out there and have a blast! The sport is great fun and you won't regret the money you spend. Just don't be afraid to fall that's my biggest mistake and it's inhibiting me from learning a lot of cool stuff.
iv recently started again age 30 after having a few years out to have kids, and i skate with a guy pushing 50 who didnt start rolling till he was 35 and hes skating rails!! all i would say is if you have a background or rec skating (just rolling up and down the street) you will find it easy if you take it one day at a time and skate as ofter as you can thats the best way to get good just dont expect great things in the 1st year be happy grinding curbs and knee high

I don't understand how these guys can skate so well in tight jeans. I had a pair of levi's 501 years ago & they were so uncomfortable even just to walk in. It felt like both my legs were in casts & I couldn't even put my hands in the pockets fully! I only wore them once. I know they look good but is it really worth sacrificing comfort for style? I'm not so sure. Great skating though. Peace.

At least i cant see it anymore. Can someone tell me what that new style thing is all about?
