One of my last conversations with my dad before he passed away a few years ago was him talking about us signing a little rocket of a player called Diogo jota from Portugal , he didn’t get to see us win the league and all the great achievements we have had over the last few seasons with Diogo , but now they are together in heaven and am sure there both talking football , family and fifa 😢R I P Diogo and Andre , Liverpool has a big hole in it’s heart as we all feel the pain over this for our own reasons, all our love is with rute his children , mum , dad and all the family 💔 “ ohhh he wears the number 20 , he will take us to victory, and when he’s running down the left wing , he’ll cut inside and score for LFC , he’s a lad from Portugal 🇵🇹 better than figo don’t you know , ohh his name is DIOGO……we will never forget Y.N.W.A xx

Jesus loves you and has a great purpose for your life! Do you believe? Romans 10:9: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We are more than conquerors in Jesus Christ! He greatly desires to save you! Only in Him is there true peace. Believe in His Word, for it is completely faithful and true! Have faith that He will NEVER abandon you! Believe!

I'm from Gondomar, like Jota, and I even studied at the same high school as him. Hearing him say, "It is a remarkable achievement for a small guy that came from Gondomar," makes me tear up every time. What a humble champion we had in Diogo Jota - I really really wish he could have stayed with us a little longer.

As an arsenal fan, this is a time that shows that football doesn’t matter. None of it matters, it’s just a thing we like to watch or play when we’re bored. It isn’t human life. I can’t imagine how his wife his feeling right now who he met at 16 and his 3 kids. They were together for 12 years, and finally got married, but she was only able to experience it for 2 weeks. His brother too. Most people are ignoring him but he also died too and I can’t imagine how his parents feel losing both of their kids on the same night. I always thought of him as a very underrated player and he was always somehow able to get on the scoresheet even when he had a bad game. Rest peace, Diogo and Andre 💔🕊️

Our lad from Portugal is gone, but his soul is not. Diogo was one of the most beloved players in the history of football. No one hated him, not even his rivals. A legend went to play in heaven. We should not be sad and upset because he died, but grateful and happy because he lived. My condolences to the entire family at this time of great pain. I don't know much about anything, but I do know one thing: Diogo, You'll Never Walk Alone.

I’ve watched LFC TV a few times, and every time, i noticed how Diogo seemed like the bridge between the european players and the latin ones. The off pitch vibes always felt so warm, full of love, laughter, and happiness. I’m not even a Liverpool fan, but i love football and everything about it, on and off the pitch. And that’s exactly what i saw in Diogo Jota’s attitude, you could feel it. I can’t even imagine how broken the hearts of the Liverpool players, the fans, and especially his family must be right now. Because just from the few videos i’ve seen, i could tell, Diogo wasn’t just a football player. He was a real, genuine human being.
Today, the football world didn’t just lose a great player, we lost someone who showed us what it really means to be human, a man who loved his partner deeply, with all his heart. Again, i'm not a Liverpool fan, but for some reason, this pain hits really hard. And this has become one of those rare moments where, as a man, i found myself in tears. May God accept all of Diogo Jota’s good deeds. May God give strength to his family.
Rest In Peace, Diogo Jota & Andre.
    YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE.
