You don't. You have the EU model. It cannot connect to a WiFi network at the same time as the drone. Sorry. Same here. You need to use a SIM card in the remote to get NTRIP working.
In my case, turning on the wifi to connect to the gnss Hotspot would de-link the aircraft. After setting all the io parameters etc, what do you do to re-link the P4 without losing the wifi connection to gnss? TIA
Haha I'll asnwer for him if he doesn't want to. You both, me included, have the EU model of the P4RTK. I believe other regions outside of the US all got the EU model. This means that I cannot connect to both the WiFi network AND drone at the same time. The solution to this is to put a SIM card into the remote. This is why the EU models come with the 4G dongle for the remote. Get internet through the SIM card in remote to receive NTRIP corrections. Or just run PPK all the time like I do. Forget about having to hold a live connection and RTK fix.
So did I understand correctly, that models purchased in EU will not connect to R10 and the drone at the same time? How will R10 get Ntrip correlations if it is not connected to any field computer with a simcart to get one?
In theory this would be just like connection to a CORS network, the difficulty is in the communication. This video shows wifi comm to the R10, which is only going to work for less than a 100 meters or so. You could check out the Simple NTRIP Caster and rebroadcast the R10 with that. I've used it with good results.
@@travislemoine7977 my apologies for the lack of knowledge here. Do I need WiFi and or a simcard with data inside the R10 to be able to connect to the Drone when using the NTRIP?
Hey! I'm going to purchase a p4 rtk. I have a sps985 rover. Can I configure the rover still. I used to use a 986 rover and the company had to pay to switch on access to the rover (I think)... not sure if the 985 has that function.
Hi Jonathon, I wish I could say for certain but we don't have any experience with that particular receiver. It is indeed very similar to the R10; however, they do utilize different firmware so there are always minor (but important) differences. Usually, there's a way to configure just about any GNSS system, but sometimes it may require extra hardware if it doesn't work.

Hello there; Is this study made for spectra sp 80 for Trible? Thank you.
thank you a lot!
Does the procedure it works the same to set a R10 to link a matrice 210 RTK v2?

I am curious to know what software are you using for screen recording or screen sharing? @SeilerSolutions , Does anyone know any option? thanks
FreeCam8 is open sourse one
Is phantom 4 rtk will connect to South GNSS reciver south G1/ G1+
How about with Leica?
What is EU Model, it is necessary to do RTK Drone survey.
can we connect the drone when the remote is connected to wifi
Any experience connecting to a further away R10? Perhaps the R10 is set up 10 km away and you're off surveying with just the Phantom.

Hi. I'm from nepal. I was wondering if I could use P4RTK with a 3rd party base station(please recommend )for ppk.
yes, of course, I have tested P4RTK with other brand RTK receiver for PPK
@@jiajane2537 How accurate was your resulting 3D model ? Thanks !

Hey Johnathan, any luck getting this to work with the SP85? Thank you!
Any modern base that can transmit RTCM over NTRIP is compatible with the P4RTK.
Forget about RTK. Use PPK.
Hi
What About TOPCON HiperV
Compatibl R8S?
Not directly, that receiver doesn't offer a wifi natively, so you'd have to have another piece of hardware to support that (TSC7 would work).
