Great video. I never heard of this company. I was looking at the Coolerworx unit. As well as the CAE unit. The CAE unit comes with from what I understood, stronger cables. However I have the Shopdap Holy shifter. And I do not believe the cables that come with the CAE unit would not fit the Holyshift. I looks like you would have to either drill out you stock shifting lever and install ball heads so that their cables fit. Or buy their shifter lever. From what I saw on their instructions. Their cables which have the ball heads are cables with an end link link that attaches to the shifter lever. Then again I could be wrong since I did see some cables which looked the way our cables look once the plastic end links are removed. Which in turn fit into the holyshift end links. But I havent contacted CAE yet to ask about the cables for two reasons. The shifter arm height is 460mm aka 18.11 inches. And their shifter arm would not accept a Sport Shifter shift knob which I have that was custom made to be 1.3lbs. Normally Sport Shifters doesnt make them that heavy. I actually have two of them. Before the Sport Shifter Knobs. I had a Raceng knob. Which leads me to my next comment. When I was originally installing the Raceng shift knob. Since I had to cut the shift boot at the top like you did. I bought their shift boot collar. The shift boot collar covers the ripped part. Here is a link. raceseng.com/products/shift-boot-collar When I bought the sport shift shifter knobs. It came with an adapter piece that screwed onto the stock shifter arm. and then I screwed on the shifter knob. I read on Revins website that that the thread base is M12x1.5. Anyway I found your email address. So instead of writing here I will send you and email with a few questions on this system and how it works with your short shifter. As well seeing if you wanted to test fit one of Sport Shifter shifter knobs. My email address is aaron.beller@impexsurgical.com. Ill include pics of my shifter knobs. And which models I have.
Do you still have the short shifter in there? I have the holy shift shifter kit but it's still sloppy and miss shifts. Idk if I can add this kit on top of that or if it's best to return to stock.
You would be able to add this on top of your holy shift kit. I do also still have it installed and I do like it over all a very nice unit. It’s kind of a PITA to install and setup but once it’s done and done right it’s awesome.
